Watched it a second time, and I was mistakened Littlefinger suggested she go to her Uncle so she's not sneaking, but she still lied to Jon about how she knew so that's still not going to end well. Dying to know Littlefinger's angle though, something's up.

So is this new red priestess more legit? Was she playing Varys, playing on his reaction or did she know? I think she was playing on his reaction.

Oh yeah and Jorah's face when Daenerys commanded him to find a cure, you could see he means to do his best about that. He now has a purpose.

Not sure about the new red priestess. I proceed with caution with her, just like with the other one.

What's up with Littlefinger's accent? He put on an English accent in the first season and now it's all over the place. Its like a bad Irish accent, which is sad because Aiden Gillen is Irish...

A man gives an interview

Posted April 20 2015 — 12:57 AM EDT

[This interview contains a revelation from the second episode of Game of Thrones season 5]: Sunday’s Game of Thrones featured the return of a character who hasn’t been glimpsed on the series in years: Jaqen H’ghar, the Faceless Man assassin who helped Arya escape from the Lannisters’ confinement in season 2, is now back to train Arya in the mysterious ways of his death-centric religious order. Below, German actor Tom Wlaschiha spoke to us about his return to the HBO fantasy drama—and how often random fans tell him ”Valar Morghulis.”

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: Did you have any idea you were going to come back and when did you find out?
TOM WLASCHIHA: I had faint hopes. But you know with Game of Thrones, you rarely get what you’re hoping for. When I got the call I was really happy.

You arguably have the most easily replaceable role because Jaqen literally changes faces. Getting that call must have been a nice compliment to your previous work on the show.
Yeah, I take it as a compliment.

What can you tell us about your role this season?
What was important to me was when we left Arya at the end of season 2, you could almost get the impression [Arya and Jaqen H’ghar] were friends. Even though they had little [conflicts], like with her naming him, they had a very friendly vibe. I thought it would be fun to start the new season with a different vibe. Even though she’s found him, she’s grown up and is much more conscious in her choices. So he is going to teach her, as promised, but he is not going to make it easy for her. We will learn different sides of Jaqen and how the whole group at the House works. It’s also an amazing set, the detail is really mind blowing.

The Faceless Men assassins are pretty mysterious. How would you explain what they are?
The Faceless Men are a somewhat religious sect and they worship the Many-Faced God—it was a bit confusing for me at times. There are many deities and I never figured some out. Some of the Faceless Men work as assassins and will kill people for a very high price. But they’re not common killers. They also are able to hand out the gift of death to people who are sick, or in need. It’s like the ultimate merciful gift. And what I like about the House of Black and White and Faceless Men is they’re both outside of things. For them, everybody is equal. It doesn’t matter if somebody is powerful or poor. They have a gift to give and they will give it regardless of who that person is.

Do you think he actually cares about Arya? Or is she just a recruit?
He definitely cares about Arya. But the question is: If he’s hiding it and why is he hiding it? Is it part of a bigger plan? And we still don’t know why he surfaced in first place. He was a prisoner in King’s Landing. Why was he there? Was it all part of a bigger plan and, if so, who is behind it? I like that his character is so mysterious.

You do realize that two decades from now you’re going to be in a Starbucks and the barista is going to say to you: “A man orders a cup of coffee.” It’s never going to go away.
It has happened. Thankfully not too often. In Berlin, where I am at the moment, they’re way too cool [too approach him]. I’ve had people walk up to me and say “Valar Morghulis,” and I’m amazed because I look so different from my character.

What was the oddest fan encounter?
I had this guy at the subway in London at the other end of the carriage make his way toward me, looking at me. And I was thinking that I must know him for somewhere. He came up and treated me like an old friend. It turned out he just wanted to tell me “Valar Morghulis.”

The whole Dany has rights to Westeros has never set right with me, I've mentioned it before. Last night, watching her speech my uneasiness came back and I see I'm not alone.

Is Daenerys Targaryen the Real Villain of Game of Thrones?

Courtesy of HBO
How this week’s episode laid the groundwork for the “Mad Queen Daenerys.”
BY JOANNA ROBINSON
This post contains a frank discussion of Game of Thrones Season 6, Episode 6, “Blood of my Blood.” If you won’t wish to be spoiled, leave now.

As it often likes to do, Game of Thrones capped this week’s episode with a big dragon-heavy moment for Daenerys Targaryen. It’s a scene similar to ones we’ve seen from here before; she’s mustering some troops while projecting from her diaphragm in a foreign language. (Usually, it’s Valyrian.) But there’s a big difference in this scene and it may lay the groundwork for Daenerys being the antagonist of the final two seasons of Game of Thrones.

Before, when we’ve seen Daenerys address a huge crowd, she’s done so with a very sympathetic message. Sure, as Daario points out, she’s a conqueror. But she’s done so in the name of freedom. She’s been freeing the enslaved of Astapor, Yunkai, and Meereen while toppling their rulers. But in this week’s episode, it’s all about what Daenerys wants. She doesn’t even promise her new blood riders a better life, she just promises to work them harder than any khalasar has ever been worked.

Even Daario, her #1 piece of arm candy, looks concerned.

Here, Daenerys calls back to the promise Khal Drogo made her back in Season 1. But even in that scene, the motivation for Daenerys is more sympathetic. She’s concerned with protecting her unborn son from the wrath of Robert Baratheon. When Khal Drogo makes his speech, he promises the Westeros to their child, Rhaego. “I will give him the iron chair that his mother’s father sat upon,” Drogo says. “I will give him the Seven Kingdoms.” Somehow wrapping a baby into the speech makes the threat of a bloody coup more endearing.

Daenerys’s speech is nearly identical to Drogo’s. They both talk about “riding wooden horses across the black salt sea,” “killing men in iron suits” and “tearing down stone houses.” And while Daenerys leaves out the part where Drogo promises to rape the women of Westeros and enslave their children, you better believe her new blood riders will do exactly that. Dany may have a dragon, but there’s no way she can control that many Dothraki from doing what they do. She’s about to unleash a raping, murderous horde on Westeros and while they might kill some unsympathetic Boltons and Freys, there’s nothing stopping the khalasar from having its way with the likes of Sansa, Jon, Brienne, and Davos.

But this Dothraki callback wasn’t the only dangerous Dany clue in the episode. During Bran’s rapid-fire flashback, he had a vision of the Mad King Aerys.

In the books (and to a lesser degree in the show) Dany constantly fears she’ll become like her father. But doesn’t that vision look awfully familiar?

The “Mad Queen Daenerys” is a long-standing theory among book readers, but for the first time the show laying the khaleesi’s bloodthirsty qualities on thick without the protective shield of altruism. She will take what is hers, she promises Daario and, like many Targaryens before her, she’ll do it with fire and blood. All she needs are 1,000 ships. Hmmmm, good thing the Greyjoys are working on just that thing.

Hmm, the last two episodes, although informative, have been lackluster for me. I wish they would wrap up the whole Faith Militant/High Sparrow storyline. It's quite a bore.

I really want to see how the whole Stark vs. Bolton battle is going to go down. And now we have Arya getting ready to leave Bravos too? Oh yeah. But first I imagine that she will have to kill the Waif first. Don't know how she'll do it, but I get the feeling that she'll succeed. I don't see them killing Arya off.

Yay, Uncle Benjen is back and saving lives.

So now we know that Blackfish escaped Walder Frey's fingers, will he for sure be a part of helping Sansa and Jon?

I don't mean any harm, but these "motivational speeches" are getting a bit old. They were quite exciting at first, especially Tyrion's speech at the battle of Blackwater, but now, they are putting me to sleep. Either take action or keep your trap shut.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.
