I have family in Elko Nv, its a town in the middle of the high desert near Utah, blink n you miss it, mining,gambling,ranching town. Cowboy world I call it and they put on a great fireworks show. So im in line at the Albertsons there and of course theres the tabloids n one was, idk what, but it had a Prince n a suicide note bla bla thing cover story. A lady behind me, aunt bee country bumpkin was behind me n I saw her take the magazine n read some n she said n I swear

"no way Prince would do that out loud" ... I was floored n it felt like a twilight zone moment happened, why I dont know of course she knew who Prince was I mean she wasnt omish or ... i dont know, anyway. It took me a minute to gather my thoughts cause It really made me sad n remember things I hadnt thought about in a few weeks. So damnit *&(^$shit im once again feeling so damn sad n angry n hurting .. why god why ..

The fireworks show was once again really really cool ..

Prince fans come in all shapes sizes and age. I knew that from attending his shows but after he died I was surprised at the number of people who were upset - people I would never have pegged for Prince fans talking about how stunned they were by his passing.
