for the ladies who wear MAKEUP! This is probably old news but I thought it was cool as shit There's a lipstick by Revlon I'd been hunting down for about a year now. It's the perfect shade of red for me & appeared to be discontinued. I contacted Revlon & they gave me some #'s to their distribution companies (I guess) who sell discontinued merchandise until it's gone. The lipstick I wanted retailed for about $9.00 & I got the shit for $0.99!!! I bought a few so I won't run out, the representative said it should last 4 to 5 years unopened. I'm giddy

Sorry this is so trivial, but this lipstick is killer!! . [This message was edited Fri Mar 28 18:28:10 PST 2003 by CalhounSq]

Lucky you, Calhoun! That was a good deal you got.
I have the hardest time finding a decent shade of red lipstick. I can't count how many barely used tubes I have of various reds that I thought were gonna look good on me, but when I got them home they turned out to look anywhere from just OK to downright grotesque. If I ever finally find a red that looks "perfect" on me, I'm gonna do what you did and buy a whole bunch of em.

Just make sure he wears the one that's easy to wash off tender skin. When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

I do understand... , I wore COGNAC 820 from L'OREAL for years and they discontinued it sometime last year. I was bummed , you should see all the colors/brands I have... just trying to find one that is similar. Beautiful lips are hard to come by...

You should contact them I saw Revlon & Ultima so far, just did a search for MAC Tone in a particular shade but came up empty It was the best too, gave me the perfect, peachy, glossy pout ever :X But it's worth a try!

AmethystAngelMN, I wish I had done the same thing... although I might just try what CalhounSq did (great idea), which I had thought about doing... although never did. I usually go to Ulta Cosmetics now... they will take any returns back (no matter what) , I developed an allergic reaction to most eye shadows and ended up spending tons of money (prior), shopping at the Department store (etc) trying to find what would not irritate my skin (eyelids)... now I simply resort to Blush on my eyelids , it's the only type that I can seemingly tolerate. Anyways...

Just make sure he wears the one that's easy to wash off tender skin. and one that's hypo-allergenic or whatever...wouldn't want poor lenny-wenny 2 break out in a rash...
