.... Trying to join a new gym, and was in the process of getting screwed (in many different ways)..... but I'm going to write a review of it on the net which might get my ass hammered (if organised crime exists around these parts!).

Need some moral support about this, guys..... Somebody prop me up a little....

Talk to the manager or find a new gym

My employer provides a posh-Gym on site and we have 24/7 access to it...I prefer to have the joint to myself but I see the occasional nice-Booty in Yoga-pants...

Well, their flyer had one price (5500), and when I went to sign up, they said it had increased, like that day or something to 6500 - then they said "If you've had a word with <the owner> then it's 6000" - there was this huge guy who works there standing next to me in a threatnening manner, who also said "It's 6000"!!

Lots more than just that - but I was being coerced to pay more....... they're pulling this shit *before* I actually signed up!! They're not even afraid of any consequences....!!

It's true! But what I *wanted* was the flyer that said "5500" and my RECEIPT that says - 6000!! I'm sure they can't get away with that! That RECEIPT was important!!

500 extra bucks is a small price to pay for taking this guy down.....

I'm feeling really Vicious these days......

Really, even I should get one on these "social network" things, even though you guys know about my opinion of them.... just to post pics of my Muscles! WTF point is it getting them if I can't show them off? Any of you guys on Snapchat? At least that one, I've heard, things disappear after a day.....

I went on a guest pass to a gym and they gave me the crazist hard sale ever! Even worst that a time share!

Basicaly the guy said "this offer is so good that if you do not take it now you can never join the club..." I said "wait? If I leave and come back tomorrow..." He cuts me off "You will not be allowed to join, ever..." I said "and that works...." as a I walked out...

I had that happen once at a car toys... the radar detector had something like 4 prices: The MSRP,
"Our Price", a sale Price, and a "Manager's Special" (that had expired the week before). So I pick it and they ring it up all the way back up to the MSRP. And I said "oh no...it say yada yadda..."

They say that is expired and no good and i said "Well you should have taken it down! And you skip over the other 2 lower prices..." I ended up getting it for the lowest price...but i took some time... i went back a few days later and guess what? the "manager's special" was STILL posted.
