Makulu Linux is looking for funding

I've talked about this OS here before, and I think lots of Orgers can benefit from using it. This is not an endorsement, just like seeing cool things, and ridding the world of Windoze smile

But the guy who makes it is looking for funding, without which, the project may die (though he didn't explicitly say that in the video). So - if you use it and like it, send him a couple of bucks, cuz it's always the cool little gems like this ones that are usually worth preserving. That's why I thought I'd help him out a bit by posting here.

Here's the page:

This Linux user is already happy using antiX on desktop and MX on laptop. wink

But I like to know more info about Makulu. Is it debian-based? Is this Linux distro for or against systemd?

I just installed it yesterday for the 1st time myself, but an old version, which I'd had lying around on a mag coverdisc for a while. Looks alright, but then I ALSO installed Mint, which looks a lot BETTER! smile

Yes, it's Debian based. (Mint's GRUB refers to it as "Debian something" smile) But no idea about systemd - there's a forum on the site I think, why don't you ask?

Why do you WANT systemd?

I don't. no no no! The reasons why I like antix & MX is because they are two of the very few Debian-based distro that are 100% systemd free. wink
