Why is society so youth obsessed?

it ain't the young that are obsessed with youth

it;s those who look back on they youth

(minus the stoopid shit they did)

and start creatin fond memories

and rememberin abilities they ain't have

THEN they push the bullshit on the kids

(while at the same time tryin to stunt their free thought)

so they can live a vicrious life through them

BUT what fukkked them up is now passed to

the young and blamed on them (for bein young)

believe it or not most of society is still stuck

in 'the days of olde' when thirty was old age

and child labor was free BUT witout the same family dynamics....

and let's not forget the 'convenience factor' that's numbin

the minds of the new and makin the old weak...

imo the reason for the obsession is due to the changes in facial and body appearances.

as we age the face changes and the need to look youthful becomes a quest for many.

sad but true.

in europe and other countries the aging process is more accepted.

just look at the european fashion magazines. you will see models in the 50s, 60s and 70s.

model jackie o'shaunessy, age 63 >>>>>>>>>> exercise enthusiast earnestine sheperd 77yrs.

america is catching on slowly that age is just a number, not a sentence.

You say it right, i'm 27 yo and some youngsters think of me as someone really old, it's just ridiculous; and you're right at this age we're still trying to figure out what to do with our lives. You are old 'til you are old, and that mean when you hit the 70 yo.
