7yrs later and still no Avatar 2... Is it wise for Cameron The Great to wait so long to release the next installment(s)? I mean, what are we looking at maybe the year 2020+? I do not think he should. Avatar seems to be a fluke of great timing. What it has was a visual style that was unlike anything seen before. I do not believe he can come even close to repeating that. "Keep on shilling for Big Pharm!" |

I'm just fine with that...Avatar was extremely over-rated. It was much better when it was called Dances With Wolves. I'm with EmmaMcG...I'd rather see True Lies 2 anyday! That movie was at least fun, and it never stooped to offend our intellect with things like "Unobtanium" (Really, Cameron? That was the best you could come up with? Was "Reallyrarium" or "Hardtogetium" already taken?). Avatar was all spectacle, with a beat-you-over-the-head-with-it message.

Where has the time gone?!!I agree with the masses, I'd Love to see True Lies 2.....I watch that flick everytime it's played...It made $400-Million.....Once again Cameron's Production company decided not to do a sequel...When his flicks make a ton of money he says "Fuck it, I'll relax for 5yrs and Direct/Produce whatever & whenever I wanna"... | |

Whatever technology they use to capture the faces is cool. The Sigourney Weaver Avatar was scarily realistic. I'd like to see other actors with distinctive faces in the next one. I wondered about that last week. I heard it was supposed to be a trilogy. At this rate I'll be in a nursing home gumming my soup by the time the 3rd one comes out. It'll be in live action 3D theatre in the round, because screens will be long outdated. | |

We're NOT getting an E.T. 2 but we're gonna get a 5th Fucked up Indiana Jones flick...I Love Harrison, he's my Boy but Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was GARBAGE...I like Shia (with his self-absorbed, Publicity Loving-Retarded azz) but his presence could not save the flick....So what does Spielberg have planned, a 5th Flick that continues the Father/Son thing? I'll change my mind if Sir Sean Connery comes out of retirement...Sean is worth $350-Million so he aint thinking about movie-sets.. | |
