Some people need to stop having kids. Seriously. If you can't take care of yourself, then this should be a sign that you can't take care of somebody else. I hate to see people who have five or six children and can't even take care of them, I'm not talking about you know finically or anything, but I'm talking about the people who physically abuse, sexually abuse and nelgect they children for whatever selfish reasons.Beat down Fathers who desert their children are included. This is why we have people who turn out to be rapist and murderus. You know I heard that when Charles manson was his baby, his mother tried to kill him plenty of times by leaving him with different strangers and using drugs while she was pregnant. And we all know about Micheal Jackson childhood and how his father screwed him for life. Kids don't just turn out to be bad children, somewhere down the line they turn out to be a mennace to society is because how they where raised growing up.
Now there might be some children who where born bad seeds. but nine times out of ten a child turns out the way he is, is because how he raised in his home and enviroment. I see it happens over and over again. HOw many people regret not having a child hood. Your child hood is probably the most important part of your life, because as you grow up and the things you learn will determine the way you are going to be as a adult. You know what they say, the only thing you need to really know is what you learned in kindegarden, and some of that is true. So if you have kids, please take care of kids the right way, please put your kids before yourself. Remember your child needs you, even if your child is 8 going on 25 that childs needs you. Don't ever think a child has gotten to independant and mature they don't need a parent, that's just not the truth

I wholeheartedly agree with you Lisa.

My wife and I have one child. We made a decission to only have one child, right now, because we didn't want to fall into the trap of not being able to provide or give her what she needs.
At the moment we can easily devote our time and love to her, while giving her anything she needs. If we think our sitiation changes to being able to have another one, we will.
I'm very happy with what we have.

my job takes me into alot of peoples' homes - and i have said this often in the last couple of months ...


One time - last yr ... i was in a home that was infested with fleas ... ugh ... it was gross ... and they had like 4 kids ...


last week ... i was in another house ... where the lady just stays at home all day ... but yet- her laundry was piled high in the basement like she hasnt done a load in years ... filthy- and the kids live in this house ...

but you know I hate it when a parent has money and think they can just buy a kids love, do you know these kids don't care about the material things you provide for them all they want is a little bit of love and attention, not a new sony play station 2

I don't think these war protesters should be allowed to have kids. Apparently they're never home.

I agree with you Lisa!! I feel so bad for the children that are brought up in these kinds of environments! Children should never live that way! Not only is it unhealthy for the children but it tells a lot about how those children are cared for. If they cant keep the house clean and laundry done then I highly doubt they are keeping the kids clean and healthy! It is so sad because children are so innocent and have no control over how they are raised! It is too bad!

I was watching Unsolved Mysteries today and this woman, who was at a swap meet, had to use the porta potty but the baby carrier thing wouldn't fit inside with her so she left it outside while she peed (she took her 2 year old in with her though). After she came out, the baby was gone, and she was SURPRISED. Her and her mother also waited 20 minutes to call the cops while they tried to find the baby themselves. How irresponsible.
