Katt Williams and his entourage physically attacked and stole cell phones from five women in Atlanta, according to new allegations against the embattled comedian from an attorney representing the plaintiffs.

The new accusations were brought on Wednesday (March 2) during a press conference, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports, following Williams' arrest Monday on a battery charge for allegedly punching an employee at a Gainesville, Ga., pool supply store during an argument. He was released on $5,700 bond.

Attorney Loletha Hale said that at 2:30 a.m. on the Sunday before that incident Williams -- whose real name is Micah Williams -- had turned aggressive when the five women began filming him, after he had agreed to take a photo with them. One of the women, Salena Boston, alleges Williams punched her, pointed a gun at the women and took the group's cell phones. He was reportedly with about 15 members of his entourage.

Williams told police that the women were harassing him, taking pictures and filming him without consent. They "became irate," according to the police report, and snatched a chain from his neck. This instigated the fight, bringing his security team into the incident. And, according to Williams, after one of the women made a threat to get a gun, one of the comedian's entourage members took out a firearm and sat it down on a concrete post.

Police arrived later and handcuffed Williams, but no arrests were made.
Hale said the police did not appropriately investigate the incident and the women should have gotten their phones back.

"Upon responding to the scene, the officers were not able to determine what occurred due to conflicting testimony by all parties and a lack of an independent witness," Atlanta police Sgt. Warren Pickard said told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "Based on the information they had in real time and the totality of the circumstances, the officer used their discretion to not arrest anyone on the scene."

He said the incident is still under investigation and added, "I always caution victims not to get frustrated in instances where an immediate arrest is not made. We will answer further questions related to the investigation at the appropriate time."
