i'm sure this can be read up on BUT

here's my spin on it...

much like any other composition,

it is necessary to unnastan the principle

behind what you are doin to expand on it...

the refraction of light and the knowledge of shape

and shadow gives one the ability to create on this level....

This one I can roll with.

The shadow ones, eh not seeing it. I'd have to run my hand thru the light and mess around with it a bit before I'd buy there isn't something else going on. How do you shadow eyelashes with blocks?

In the first pic, look how the shadows eminate directly across from each block, right to left. From that knowledge, you can tell which block likely generates each detail. It looks like that triangular block lines up with the eyelash, I can see that working.

Music, sweet music, I wish I could caress and...kiss, kiss...

The closest triangle block would have to cast a very long shadow unless it's on top of another block. The triangle block below it, about the same size doesn't cast that long of a shadow. Even the one that does cast a long shadow isn't casting one long enough.

Not saying it's not possible but there's more to it than a picture can show.

The length of the shadow depends on the block height, which is indistinct.
I think the pic is legit!

it is a simple process (i haven't done it)

usin THIS PIC you can see how to do it though...

look at the reflection of the pieces below it...

for folks that want to use shapes and shadows

they build it according to what's reflected

Yeah I get the concept. And I think maybe a few of the shadow pictures are real but I'm not convinced that they all are real.
