Batman V Superman Trailer 2: ''If Man Won’t Kill God, The Devil Will''

Did I just see Batman holding some kind of rifle? That´s a big no no .....Batman would never use a gun or rifle, right? Other than that, I find this trailer very interesting and promising. Unlike most people I don´t have a problem with Ben Affleck playing Batman, and I think he´s a very convincing Bruce Wayne from what I´ve seen so far. His costume looks great, too. That part about Superman taking of Batman´s mask is a bit silly though....I mean he has x-ray vision and probably already knew that Batman is Bruce Wayne. Wonder Woman ....meh....I think they could´ve chosen a better actress and a more classic looking costume....that brownish-bronze looking costume is not my thing. Eisenberg reminds me a bit of Heath Ledger´s Joker in this trailer. Who is he supposed to play again? Lex Luthor? I know he´s been in a Superman movie before but can´t remember the role he had. He played Luthor, right? Is he playing Luthor again? I have nothing against Snyder as a director but I remain a bit skeptical...hope he won´t turn this interesting movie idea into some sort of overly boombastic, badly edited headache inducing movie. But the trailers all have been very promising so far. I think this wouldn´t have worked with the Nolan/Bale team. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

The Doomsday from Smallville looked better. I'm not a big fan of cheap looking special effects. And that has to be the worst Lex Luthor I've ever seen.
Other than that though, it looks good. I like Ben Affleck so I suppose I'm team Batman. LOL. [Edited 12/5/15 1:31am]

It looks like they're borrowing heavily from Miller's Dark Knight Returns comic, which is probably the greatest in comic book history. Is Superman a megalomaniac? Is the deification going to his head? Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

in many ways and many tellins of superman's evolution and beginins ole soup represents "truth justice and the american way" and he is america... batman is a criminal in every sense of the word, and like people that know their rights, his fight is FOR the people and against tyrany of any type... the alien is the tool of the government batman is a vigilanty not controlled by anyone. when lookin at who has the most deaths at their hands... it ain't the bats... i think the antagonist is suppose to be lex, but the joker is who they arre immulatin. no one ever sees the joker as a good guy but honestly until you grow up, batman is the hero... but if you think of the joker and what he does and says you gotta see the sense of it. batman andd the joker are the same pill but each is a side effect... i am KING BAD!!!

That part about Superman taking of Batman´s mask is a bit silly though....I mean he has x-ray vision and probably already knew that Batman is Bruce Wayne.
He's never been in a Superman movie and he's supposedly (probably after fanboy backlash on his casting) playing Lex's son Alexander Luthor Jr... Just the studio keeping their options open to get "Heisenberg" (Brian Cranston) for Lex Luthor... One could only hope... I imagine this miscasting was a misunderstanding... Some casting person was probably talking to his/her non-interested, coffee sipping and magazine reading assistant about how they wanted that "Heisenberg" character from "Breaking Bad", who had a sidekick named "Jesse" on the show, as Lex Luthor but couldn't remember the actor's name and sent out this non-interested assistant to get in contact with him... Lame assistant who didn't quite listen remembered only the words "Jesse" and "Heisenberg" and concluded to contact Jesse Eisenberg's agent... How hilarious would that have been, right?

So it's Lex Luthor's son? So if Jesse Eisenberg gets bad reviews I take it the real Lex will be introduced in Man of Steel 2? Just a thought about Doomsday, now I'm no expert on comics, I've never read one in my life, but isn't Doomsday supposed to come from space. The trailer shows him being created by Lex using Zod's body. Is that not changing things a bit too much?

Nolan's Batman takes place in our reality, where Superman can't exist.

I DON'T KNOW WHO SAID THIS "That part about Superman taking of Batman´s mask is a bit silly though....I mean he has x-ray vision and probably already knew that Batman is Bruce Wayne." batman had clark kents identity way before they met... he (bruce) had trianglated superman's flights from the daily planet usin sitalites and the such and runnin the gaps in soup's history (RATHER CLARK'S)... it was a long time ago when i saw that so the finer points are a bit skewed.... but the respect for identities is real high among the dc characters... i am KING BAD!!!

I think that scene is from a dream sequence so it doesn't matter if it comes across as silly. It's just a dream Batman has of a future where earth is under Superman's control.

kpowers said: Ben Afflick Here's a prediction: Ben Affleck will be a great Batman. In fact, I think he'll be the best since Michael Keaton. (though considering the competition, that's not saying much) Just because Daredevil was crap and he's been in some shit films doesn't mean he's not a good actor. And besides, he looks like he'd be a great Bruce Wayne. He's as close to how I imagine a real Bruce Wayne would look like as you could get.

It's amazing to me...as good as the DC Television universe is (Arrow, Flash, Constantine), the cinematic universe is looking to be proportionatly bad. From the miscasting of Will Smith as Deadshot, to the horrid looking Doomsday, to the terrible tattoos on the Joker...it just looks like a trainwreck. Hope I'm wrong. Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. (Ecclesiastes 7:9)
