I use to manage a Hotel and by request we always changed a Guest name or made a note in our system if they did not want people knowing they were staying there....All we needed was your Real ID and form of payment at check in...As long as your payment was approved we would change your name to Scooby-Doo if you wanted us to...Hotels are still a safe bet these days....

Tragic.

What's stupid, did the criminals think the guy was hiding all his money in his linen closet or something, I don't get the logic in the behavior. You break into somebody's house because they won a lot of money, and shot them because...what? They didn't pull out wads of cash and hand it over?

I'm still waiting for an explanation of what constitutes "What NOT to do when you win the lottery" as set out in the OP.

I know, it's a typical Graycap thread. He posts some bizarre premise; multiple posters point out the subject of the thread did everything a responsible lottery winner would do, thus making Graycap's premise bogus; and then Graycap abandons the thread's premise.

I don't call it enjoyment either, but I have laughed a lot! biggrin

What for? He didn't violate any rules. He just started and abandoned a nonsense thread but at least he did it in the proper forum this time!
