I wonder if he is interested in working with Kaepernick. Giants promote OC Ben McAdoo. Browns hire Bengals OC Hue Jackson as their coaching carousel continues. I think the Browns organization have made 2 decisions that continue to haunt their franchise and that is drafting Joe Thomas over Adrian Petersen and firing Pat Schurmur after one season when owner Jimmy Haslem took over and bought in his guy Rob Chudzinski. Pat Schurmur had the Browns playing good defense.

Not so sure. Thomas is going to the HOF and is very loyal to the franchise. Peterson would have (IMO) either gotten seriously hurt or picked up and moved elsewhere had he been drafted a Brown.

Haslam should have left Schurmur in place though.

Why is Punk-Man Jones the only idiot Bengals player saying that Brown was

acting and was winking at the Bengals players as he was carried off the field

as a stretcher? I didn't like this jackass when he came out of West Virginia.

It didn't take long for Jeff Fisher to cancel his act in Tennessee.

Brown out for the playoffs

I disagree. With Derek Anderson at qb, Braylyn Edwards at WR, Kellen Winslow Jr
at TE and Adrian Petersen you were looking at a playoff team. Remember one year
these guys were 10-6 tied with the Steelers for first in the AFC North but the Steelers won the division by virtue of a season sweep.

Ted Marchibroda, 1931-2016

Former Steelers No. 1 pick and NFL coaching legend Ted Marchibroda dies at age 84.

Former Steelers quarterback Ted Marchibroda passed away on Saturday at the age of 84. Marchibroda, who is from Franklin, Pa., was drafted by the Steelers in the first round in 1953, the fifth-pick overall.

Marchibroda played for the Steelers in 1953, left for a year to join the United States Army, and then came back for the 1955-56 seasons. Marchibroda was the first Steelers’ quarterback to defeat the Cleveland Browns in Cleveland when he led them to a 24-16 victory in 1956, throwing two touchdown passes.

“It was a thrill because the Browns were so dominant in those years,” Marchibroda was once quoted as saying.

Marchibroda is best known for his coaching career in various capacities, which included serving as the head coach of the Baltimore Colts (1975-79), Indianapolis Colts (1992-95) and Baltimore Ravens (1996-98).

Chiefs have a lack of offensive firepower. Their offense had been mediocre coming down the stretch of the regular season. Good for them and their fans to get that
playoff win. They hadn't had a playoff win since the Derrick Thomas years.

Anyone besides me after the Packers-Cards game felt sour grapes from Aaron Rodgers

at post game press conference. He seemed to cry about the coin toss and the fact their

offense didn't get to touch the ball and how they have seemed to lose a few playoff games

that way. I felt their offense had shit the bed the whole second half until the final drive on

the improbable 4th and 20 conversion and hail mary td. They also squandered opportunites

in the first half when they settled for 2 field goals.

Pack could have won if the Shiels holds on to one of those INTs. He had a sure pick-6.

It wasn't a good night for Arians or Palmer. Palmer should have had 5 or 6 INTs. WTF was Arians doing, passing the ball and not killing the clock near the two-minute warning? On the last play, why is he blitzing Rodgers instead of dropping everyone back in coverage? Fitz saved their asses.

Andy Reid's clock management reminded me of the Super Bowl against New England.

Aaron Rodgers is simply the best QB of this era.

eek

Bruce Arians: Why do you think Steelers fans were so critical of him?
We have watched Arians call plays on 3rd and 1 only to throw downfield 40 yards
to Mike Wallace. Palmer was definitely pressing and it didn't help he had no running game to help take the pressure off. Aaron Rodgers may be a great qb
and has good attributes but it's too early to give him the best of this era title
especially when he's looked like shit for the most part the second half of
this season and save the injuries excuse. Brady, Big Ben, Eli, Cam, Russell Wilson, and Phillip Rivers have all dealt with injuries to their supporting cast this year.

I'll take Rodgers over any QB on that list. His overall skill set is second to none.

I have no issue with that. I'm just disputing your claim based on this season when
it can be argued that Cam, Brady , and even Big Ben has been better this season
even with the games Ben has missed with injuries. Aaron Rodgers has played horrible some games down the stretch this year. He lost all 4 games at home to
NFC North division rivals this year and looked bad doing it and may have missed the playoffs this year if not for a lucky Hail Mary in the second matchup with Detroit.

It wasn't as bad as AJ, (wet balls) McCarron's whining at the press conference that it only rained when the Bungles had the ball. lol

I wonder if on the coin toss if the coin ended up as tails would Rodgers have complained?? would he complain if they did another coin toss?

I knew it was over after the fumble. All season the Steelers have been playing 3 quarters of football instead of 4 for the most part. You can't do that and expect to win decisively......especially playing Manning. All season they have gone down to the last minute.

The defense was on the field all night long.....fatigue set in. You saw the difference in the last Bronco scoring drive. Denver ran all over them and Manning ran the clock down. They weren't able to run on the Steelers like that in the first half.

Once they got in that hole Ben's arm wasn't sufficient to pull them out because of the shoulder.

Gotta play all 4 quarters.

So will I. My sister is a Broncos fan so I will be pulling for them. Whenever
the Broncos are out the mix in the postseason she pulls for the Steelers.
Yes you right about the Bengals. Can you believe some of their asswipe players
had the audacity to tweet about our loss. Rey Maguluma and George Ioka whoever the
fuck he is saying all is right. lol That says a lot about their pathetic franchise. I never had the hate I have for the Bengals that I do now.
As for the game we were right there. The Toussaint fumble was huge. That was a
10 to 14 point swing. Now that's where we missed De Angelo Willams. That veteran presenc to wrap the ball up in that situation. It's ironic we didn't hear Von Miller nor DeMarcus Ware name called until the last drive where Ben got sacked on
back to back plays. I didn't like the final result but I enjoyed the season. The guys fought hard this postseason but the football gods called for Brady- Manning
one more time.

Really??? The Bengals know how to tweet and use a cell phone?? I'm surpised by that. Well they can tweet all they want it still won't change the fact that the Steelers knock them out of the play offs. Before they talk shit they should look at this
