Best movie of the year I like Pixar movies ok. But I don't rush to them and was going to skip Inside Out. So when on a quiet day a friend asked if I would go see it with her, it was such a breath of fresh air.
Yep, a cartoon best film of 2015, best movie of the year by far. A few other good movies, some too pretentious (The Revenant) (Carol) and a lot, lot lot of them overated. [Edited 12/22/15 16:33pm]

I don't know what the best movie of the year is, but the best movie that I've seen this year is "Creed".

Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It was a movie I thought would be decent but all I was hoping for was for it to be as good as Ep 3. I would have been happy with that. But it exceeded all my expectations and it's my favourite film of this year. Though I really enjoyed Jurassic World and Inside Out too. Guess I'm just a sucker for the blockbusters

Gotta give special props to Bridge of Spies
I went in to Steven Spielberg's Bridge Of Spies with low expectations and it charmed my pants off. Great storytelling and a great message as well. Props to Mad Max FR for is glorious imagery. The best use of digital color design I have ever seen. Straight out of Compton was fun with a look behind the scenes of kids basically, who were vilified by the media. Between the block buster remakes. I enjoyed both The Force Awakens nd Jurassic World, but I gotta say that Jurassic World was the less clunky of the two. Both way too derivative, but fun non the less. The best actor between these two movies was BB8. The believable expression of human behavior. Sacario was depressing but good filmmaking. Ant-Man was really cute. And the worst movie of the year by a Wide wide margin... Age Of Ultron [Edited 12/24/15 7:53am]

Force Awakens is my personal fave, but probably not the best...
Mad Max: Fury Road was a hell of a film and I hope it gets some props during awards season (though probably won't!).
Carol was fantastic, as was Inside Out.
For me though it has to be Sicario, best of the year I think. www.filmsfilmsfilms.co.uk - The internet's best movie site!

You reckon Age of Ultron was worse than 50 Shades of Grey...?!!!!! www.filmsfilmsfilms.co.uk - The internet's best movie site!

With Age of Ultron you can see a great franchise, a great cast and hundreds of millions of dollars worth of terrible CGI, and STILL ending up as bad as it did. Among all of the releases this year, It's the boat among the boogie boards and inflatable pool toys of bad movies released this year that made the difference. But it made money. So good for them.

I certainly have not seen every movie this past year, but I did very much enjoy both "Mad Max" and "Mission Impossible."
Let me add I LOVED "Electric Boogaloo: The Wild Untold Story of Cannon Film," it premiered in wide release on Netflix this year, even though it's a 2014 release.
Worst movie of the year, "Star Wars: The Abomination." [Edited 12/23/15 11:23am]
