I couldn't believe Ben did that shit.....almost ruined a terrific night. He carved UP that Broncos secondary like a Thanksgiving turkey.
My Giants are history......one game suspension for ODB.
If Pittsburgh can tighten up on defense, they can beat NE. [Edited 12/21/15 13:29pm] |

Yeah even when the game was over you could see on Ben's face he was not happy about that interception he threw at the 2 minute warning |

Should have been trying to milk the clock with the running game anyway or
if you gonna pass run a receiver screen to keep the clock moving. Ben's late game INT against the Bengals cost them that game. The Steelers would be tied for first
place if not for that shit. Great comeback against the Broncos. Secondary is iffy
as shit. [Edited 12/21/15 15:10pm]Don't laugh at my funk

I really don't understand why Ben chokes at times. He is a veteran NFL QB 2 time Super Bowl champion. When he came back from his foot injury he was asked how he felt playing against the Bengals, Ben said he was nervous. That pissed me off big time. I wanted him to say "I'm hungry, wanna play". |

That might be the problem literally. I saw Ben walking to the stadium before the
game with his suit on and I swear he looks fat now. Dude really needs to put
down the punnani sandwiches. I don't think I've seen Ben that big in several
years. He also looked like he couldn't evade the rush Sunday as usual.
If a Steelers don't make playoffs I'm calling for some heads among the players

Yeah Ben needs to get in shape and the coaching staff needs to be firm about that. Don't let him slide just because he's the QB. If Bell or Brown were out of shape they would be out of a job. Who on the Coaching staff should be let go? I think Butler should not be let go because this is his first year. Though Butler should be put on notice that the Defense needs to be a top 5 defense in the league again. What about Tomlin?? I swear they better not draft another line backer as there number one player again. I know the Steelers love to stop the run but it's a passing league now (and Ben is proving that) and they need to address that on Defense. |

They haven't truly addressed their secondary issues. the front seven has young talent -- Shazier, Jones and Tuitt -- but their secondary is old(ish) and full of holes.

Well age for the secondary is not that much of a factor as it was a few years ago. Mostly lack of talent. |

The Steelers need a dog(pass rusher)on the front seven. No one on the front seven puts the
fear of God in opposing offenses. I'm still holding out hope for Shazier to grow.
He shows flashes but has yet to show dominance. Tuitt is nice. I'm sorry but
Jarvis Jones looks like a bust. Never thought he was that great coming out of Georgia. He rarely played with his hand in the dirt and didn't take on blockers
as his line did the dirty work and he just roamed around and made plays. That doesn't cut it in the NFL. [Edited 12/30/15 5:24am]Don't laugh at my funk

Tuitt is a solid, productive 3-4 end. 3-4 ends aren't sack machines. I hear you on Jones. They do need a reliable 3-4 pass rush specialist.

I'm hoping Bud Dupree makes some progress in the offseason. He has shown more flashes as a pure pass rusher than Jones. Don't laugh at my funk
