. not really. at least, not yet. it seems to be about a post apocalyptic world wherein feudal style barons rule the world with the assistance of individuals called 'clippers', who deal death to their enemies. we are shown fields of poppies and a baron who uses drugs heavily. this is the baron to whom our hero is sworn. our hero, the protagonist, sunny, is a clipper who is beginning to question his allegiance to a drug-addled baron who kills his closest, oldest friends. sunny is also haunted by distant memories of a fabled city that lies beyond an area which is called 'the badlands'. no one knows what lies in the badlands, there are only legends. when we meet sunny, he is rescuing a young boy who is gifted with a special fighting ability, and who wears a pendant depicting the fabled city. for whatever reason, one of the barons wants this boy and his power....

I like it. The only thing that annoys me is the Baron's, overdramatized, southern accent. It's like nails going down a chalkboard. Reminds me of Stephen Moyer from True Blood. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

^ he's pretty repellent, just like his evil spawn. not appealing at all. i especially dislike him after what he did to the doctor and wife. i'm thinking he will turn on sunny too, soon

^me too, i admire the fight choreography. also relieved that the widow hasn't been forced to wear a zina-style bustier. such an amazing outfit, all those layers of knives
