Meditation is the best way, 20 minutes per day, every day. At first it is the most difficult thing to do, but with practice it becomes much easier. And there is no need to ingest anything.

In spiritual practices, opening the 3rd Eye is referred to as the Christ Consciousness. When reading the Bible I always keep this mind and it definitely gives it some interesting interpretations. For instance, John 10:9: "I am the door: by me, if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture." If we read that with the idea that 3rd Eye is the Christ Consciousness, then the interpretation of that verse would be that if any man enters Christ Consciousness by way of the 3rd Eye, then he will be saved, will be able to enter and exit that consiousness at will, and will find peace.

In spiritual teachings, there is one chakra higher than the 3rd Eye or Christ Consciousness, which would be the Crown Chakra (or where one realizes their oneness with God). There is no way to reach God except through the Christ Consciousness (in other words, no way to get to God except through Christ).

and blocking the 3rd eye figuratively or literally with sunglasses would be opposite of what anyone in2 spiritual growth would do. it's the portal of 'light' so....

Yeah, that was my experience as well. It really did open a world of amazing and strange images. Somebody at the retreat I was in said that ayahuasca does the same as what Buddhist monks do in years and years of meditation. So in a way it's a shortcut to this alternate reality.

i haven't tried ayahuasca yet myself. but, i've been learning about it ever since i watched a documentary about DMT.

While there are many things to doubt about this story....Ok, everything to doubt about it, the one sure and true way you know this is all poppycock is because the author of the story in the OP brings in the conspiracy angle.

"They" don't want you to know about this, because "they" don't want you to know what you can do.

Ridiculous.

To believe that means that you would have to accept that every single medical student that's ever worked on cadavers is part of the conspiracy. Because every single medical student since they started medical schools has learned about anatomy through dissection.

If you can buy an assertion that "they" have been able to convince every single doctor throughout the entire world over the last 200 years to keep this secret, then I guess you can buy anything.

Lastly, there is no corroboration whatsoever that the "Egyptian eye symbol" represents the "3rd eye". But do you what that "Egyptian eye symbol" does look EXACTLY like?
