So, is this a random thoughts thread? We haven't had one in a long time. |

I just suddenly got a strong taste rosemary, I can almost smell it but not really so I know no one has anything with it around. I wonder what that means. Now it's gone. |

I am so proud of our kids.
Our son was a featured speaker at last night's Ole Miss student senate meeting to discuss and vote on removing the Mississippi state flag from the campus. Despite protests and attempted intimidation by the KKK, the resolution passed! Thanks to my son and other impressive young students, the Ole Miss administration will now consider removing the state flag (it displays the Confederate battle flag as part of the flag).
Our daughter competed in the Miss Black and Gold Pageant put on by the Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity. There were 10 contestants and she was one of two non-African-Americans competing. She got first runner-up! Ole Miss is such an awesome institution and I hope people follow their lead when it comes to embracing diversity.
My wife and I are bursting with pride over our two children today! |

Trying not to feel defeated, I know we can overcome all these interferences and broken promises. Eleanor was all like she can help us and she has supplies and she will write a list for us and bring it. Then she passes it off to Rae saying that she will bring candy molds for our fundraiser. I get to Rae and she doesn't even seem to have a clue that she was supposed to bring the molds. It's a good thing that we already bought a few molds to start making candy. I guess we should just resolve to do everything without other's help. They may be too busy to do as they promised. But still, I hate when people volunteer to help with something but they can't fulfill it. So disappointing!
Alrighty, I'm gonna shop online for supplies on my own. |

There was a wreck across the bayou from my house Saturday night. Same place as the wreck a few years ago where the guy threatened to shoot me, and then was later killed by the cops.
Anyway, I heard the wreck and saw the headlights in the trees, so I hopped in my Suburban and drove over there. I found a car that had run a stop sign at a T-intersection, and had driven into a grove of trees. Inside were two kids covered in blood. The driver - a young man, looked like he had severed his neck open, and the young girl's face was covered in blood.
I asked them if they were bleeding, or were those costumes? They were costumes! Thank God, I thought for a moment that I was going to have to deal with open head wounds!
They were OK. It took me about 10 minutes to get their car out of the trees, and then they parked it on a side street and waited for the driver's brother to come pick them up.
I don't think the driver was drunk, but he may have been on something. He blamed the wreck on his unfamiliarity with the subdivision, coupled with the fact that he was reading his phone while driving through the intersection. He was really lucky they didn't crash through the trees and go into the bayou. |

Just made out with very nice and cute guy.
I had a bit alcoholic drinks.
And now I feel great. We agreed to skate together tuesday.
He's very cute and all, but I really did not think it trough.
He is very cute though.
