It's this obscure comedy I found on Netflix, I think it's a Canadian import. It's about a bunch of white people living in Manhattan and it's funny. It's no "Full House" but it's charming. I'm working my way though the whole series.

I found another show called "Seenfield" on Hulu Plus, I believe it's also a Canadian import about white people living in Manhattan and I'm planning on watching that whole series afterwards. The description says it's about nothing, but how could that be? Everything is something. Well it's kind of funny, it's no "Home Improvement" but it's cute.

You should also check out "Everybody likes Raymond" and "Mad about you baby" also a Canadian import.

I like both of those, AFAIK I'd have to buy Mad about You on dvd, but they're cheap. I'd like to stream The Mary Tyler Moo show but there's only 3 seasons available.

Boring and overrated - that goes for Seinfeld too.

My favorite episode of "Friends" was that one where Chandler acted obnoxious, Joey did something stupid, and Ross didn't get to kiss anyone.

Glad you're enjoying them. I was not into those shows at all during it's run though I remember the popularity, and everyone including me had the Rachel haircut in the late 90's, and I remember the theme song being a top 40 hit.

I really tried to watch a couple of Friends episodes...but it was just not funny or entertaining at all. Guess I couldn't relate at all.

Seinfeld, on the other hand, is the best network sitcom I've ever watched - and I've seen every episode, probably several times.

Me too, most my age grew up on it, but I really could not get into it even then.

I think I was watching Living Single the time and night Friends was on in the 90s.

I think around that time I kept up with music way more than tv, though when I did watch shows, they were daytime dramas, music documentaries, beavis & butthead and award shows when they were still ok.

Some other good 70's shows are "M.U.S.H" , "Happy Todays" and "Lavern & Suzie".

Living Single was my show back then... Loved Queen Latifah in it. And I had the biggest crush on the John Henton... LOL

I decided to watch too episodes of steinfeld a day and 2 of friendz. Of course I'm going to fall behind on current shows but I don't want it to take a year.

Friends is okay, Seinfeld I like. Have you heard of 'Fraiser'? I like that show, been watching it almost every night on the Hallmark channel. It's a spinoff from 'Cheers' (which I didn't care for too much).

Frasier is awesome. I miss that show!

I also recommend The Jeffersons and Different Strokes.

I did the comprehensive Cheers and Frasier chronological marathon for a few years, its a great view and its neat that later on in Frasier certain folks pop up from Cheers. I'd love to do all of the Norman Lear programs chronologically someday.
