Amber Rose starts new campaign called "Slut Walk" Now, if it doesn't get any crazier, Amber Rose starts an march campaign called Slut Walk, and her mom supports her, according to the Huffington Post. This campaign is started, based on Kanye West's diss on her, saying that he had to take 30 showers, when they were together, before he got with Kim. Umm..., now somebody help me do the math here. If Kanye had to take 30 showers with Amber, then how many showers is he taking with Kim? According to her and her supporters, sluts should be taken seriously

I don't understand though. What point, if any, is she trying to make? Or is this just a desperate attempt to get some publicity?

I figure its bout women claiming their sexuality and refusing to be looked down upon for going out and having sex with whoever and how much. Ain't nothing wrong with a woman getting what she wants whenever she wants. The Most Important Thing In Life Is Sincerity....Once You Can Fake That, You Can Fake Anything.

Amber is bandwagon jumping. The Slutwalk campaign is almost five years old and actually began in Canada when a constable told women to stop dressing like sluts in order not to be raped. I don't know if having her as a spokesperson will do more harm or good.
Like Kim and her sisters as well as Paris Hilton before them, Amber is another "famous for nothing" trick. Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise.

I don't think it's acceptable for a man or a woman to go around having sex with whoever. I think the whole double standard thing came about because women are expected to have more sense than men. It's ok for a man to do those things because it's a man and what can one expect from a man. But women seem to be held to a higher standard. Or at least, we used to before idiots came up with shit like slut walks. I sound like a real feminist don't I?

You know, get famous the old fashioned way.

Too bad it was a failure....She expected thousands only hundreds showed up.Plus her best friend Blac Chyna abandoned her for a man(Ciara's baby daddy Future). Wiz Khalifa ended up taking her back that VERY nite . So maybe it was worth it for her in the end....I LOVE HER HONESTY THOUGH!!!

Not sure that's her message. She is saying that she is deserving of "love & respect". You don't get to deny her that when she finds the right person who she wants to be faithful to because you have labelled her a "slut" aka Unloveable, unwifeable ect
I dig it.

MTV Cancels Amber Rose an...ality ShowMTV reportedly canceled a reality TV starring former strippers Amber Roseand Blac Chyna. But to hear the ladies tell it, they decided not to go ahead with their plans for the show. In reality, MTV preferred not to lose any more cash financing a reality TV show that would surely bomb in the ratings.
MTV took notes when Amber’s disastrous ‘Slut Walk’ campaign failed to draw support from other stars. None of Rose’s so-called “friends” in the industry showed up for her Walk of Shame. Chyna was also a no-show, sparking rumors of trouble between the 2 friends. Amber expected 10,000 people to show up for her ‘Slut Walk.’ But only about 100 people showed up. It didn’t help matters when Amber took to social media to blast her few remaining friends for charging her $30-$40K to make an appearance. As I pointed out in an earlier post, the reason for the artist’s demands for appearance fees was simple: The “Slut Walk” is a joint effort between Rose and MTV Network producers. The “Slut Walk” was supposed to be filmed for an upcoming episode of Amber’s and Chyna’s reality show. Artists aren’t in the habit of showing up to support another artist’s TV project for free. And definitely not for an ungrateful slut like Amber Rose. Wise choice for Vh1 to drop it!!! will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"! Thanks for writing this comment. I was about to write the same thing. I heard about slutwalk like in 2010 or something! Amber Rose is being pimped out to promote it because now it's probably going to be repackaged and marketed as something other than what it started as... Trolls be gone!

seems the 'slutwalk' movement started in 2011 SlutWalk: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SlutWalk SlutWalk is a transnational movement of protest marches which began on April 3, 2011, inToronto, Ontario, with subsequent rallies occurring globally.[3] Participants protest against explaining or excusing rape by referring to any aspect of a woman's appearance,[4] and call for an end to rape culture.[5] The rallies began after a Toronto Police officer suggested that "women should avoid dressing like sluts" as a precaution against sexual assault.
InceptionConstable Michael Sanguinetti[edit]On January 24, 2011, Toronto Police Constable Michael Sanguinetti and another officer from 31 Division spoke on crime prevention, addressing the issue ofcampus rape at a York University safety forum at Osgoode Hall Law Scho During the talk, Sanguinetti interrupted the more senior officer and said: "I've been told I'm not supposed to say this – however, women should avoid dressing like sluts in order not to be victimized."[ After an article that reported on the situation received international attention, Sanguinetti apologized for the remark saying:

yah know i had to look up the origin of the term "slutwalk." seems amber is not the creator of the slutwalk movement. she dress pretty riskay, but no, she's (amber rose) not the originator.
