...so what's the Org think of Priyanka Chopra in Quantico...? ... did anyone see it? It was in the media here all over - 1st time an Indian actress breaks through to mainstream Hollywood etc. etc.....
I didn't see it myself, but I'm still curious to know if anyone here did, and if so - how was it? |

I ranted and raved about her on here like 10 years ago. No one cared.
I won't be watching her US show. I can't deal with that kind of shit TV.
She was good in Barfi!, though.

Why do you say it's shit, out of curiosity? Do you just mean - "aimed at teenagers", or simply.... "BAD"? |

No, I mean network tv is shit in general...but this show - based on an ad that showed a bomb blowing up, decimating an entire building except a small area where her character was, with nothing more than a few smudge marks on her face - was enough to tell me this show is totally redic.

LOL! I know what you're saying, which is why I disconnected cable back at the start of the year.....
Are you interested in "new" Indian TV on the web, by any chance? I remember discussing this on here, there are some websites with stuff actually aimed at me, and which I enjoyed, to at least some extent..... if you're interested, I could give you a couple of links.... It would be prudent to increase viewership of these shows, so that more of them can come out..... |

As for Network TV it's not all shit. Yes sitcoms have not been good since the 90's (except for the big bang theory). Reality TV is some what going away on the big Netorks. Dramas are a little bit more edgy now. Alot more Sci-Fi shows which I like. So how are the shows made in Canada? Any recommendation? [Edited 10/6/15 12:08pm] |

Big Bang Theory is terrible and a perfect example of the garbage on network TV. I can't think of any dramas that are not shit. Mr Robot is very good but that's not network. Oh wait, Bob's Burgers is awesome and on Fox.
Canadian tv is even worse...except for home improvement shows, we dominate that shit.

Big Bang Theory is so overrated, finally someone agrees! It's a good show for marketing purposes and nothing else.
Also love bob's burgers, way funnier than the Simpsons or any other family cartoon. |

BBT is just not funny or entertaining at all...and this is coming from a nerd, who's hero is Neil deGrasse Tyson.

Sure, hit me up with a list.
Go to www.tvfplay.com and check it out. Also check the "Honest Indian" series on Youtube - Honest Indian Flights, Honest Indian Diwali, etc. etc.
I don't know how much of the latter you'll get, since you don't live in India, but anyway, you can still check it out.... |

I don't know why you say this - I quite like it, though I'm not gaga over it or anything. Who's "Neil deGrasse Tyson"? |

I always thought she would or could breakthrough/crossover.
I thought she was great in "Dostana"
