The Joker in Gotham? For anyone currently watching season 2 of Gotham, do you think that Jerome is definitely being set up to be the Joker or do the writers have a twist up their sleeve. Like, just when you think that yes, this is the Joker, they'll kill him off. Maybe he'll be killed by a low level mobster called Jack Napier

There's shades of Jack Nicholson, Mark Hamill and a bit of Heath Ledger about the performance. I just wonder if it's all a bit too obvious. I can't help but think there's a twist coming. But look, as long as they don't make Barbara as Harley Quinn then I won't mind either way.

Well, it wasn't Jack Napier that killed him, but I did think they were making it a bit too obvious that Jerome was the Joker. I didn't expect him to get killed off so quickly though. I do hope a character called Jack Napier shows up at some stage though. As I said above, maybe as a seemingly low level gangster, possibly part of Penguins crew until they find out that Jack Napier is just an alias and nobody really knows where he came from. But by then he's too powerful for anyone to seriously challenge him. Until Batman shows up and drops him into the acid. I've put far too much thought into this My knowledge of Batman comes from the animated series from the 90's and the Tim Burton films. So apologies if what I've described ever appeared in any of the comics.
