I'll try to play along, even though my interest in the NFL is waning:

Brady is a fine quarterback. But he's no Joe Montana. And if reports about him
cheating on Gisele Bundchen are true, it just goes to further the idea that if you
show me a beautiful, drop dead gorgeous woman, I'll show you a man sick and
tired of her.

Kam Chancellor's absence may be the reason why the Seahawks were awful. But didn't
they start out awful last year as well? If they are at .500 by Thanksgiving, then we should
question whether they are starting to slide.

The AFC East is certainly the most interesting, even though Rex Ryan is a buffoon.

The NFC East is still up for grabs but I expect the Cowboys to soldier through; Cassel
was a good pickup. And WR and RB are two of the more overrated positions in football,
so, they won't miss Bryant too much and not having Murray isn't going to utterly derail
them from their Super Bowl aspirations.

I had no idea that Palmer had that record. Wow. I bet Cincy is kinda wondering why
they cut him lose for Andrew "Pedestrian" Dalton.

The Rams are winning because Jeff Fisher can coach. The Fins are decent despite Ryan
"Pedestrian" Tannehill. Suh is a headcase and I hope he doesn't turn into Albert Haynes-
worth.

Why does it seem that head coaches are simply recycled? John Fox is a decent coach
but does he deserve his third head coaching gig? Every year, a coach who sucks gets
fired and re-hired by some GM/owner.

The Redskins should just cut RGIII; eat the contract and move on. Or, can that coach,
who is definitely in over his head.

Andrew Luck could be overrated; and this is after I read that Bleacher Report about him
being "The Architect" and just a wondrously gifted QB. He looks rather bad.

Blow up the Giants; Eli Manning and Tom Coughlin are the two luckiest sons of bitches
to ever play football.

I'm still waiting for the black Tom Brady. RGIII, Cam Newton, Teddy Bridgewater, and
Russell Wilson ain't really cutting it.

What the fuck is up with Chip Kelly? Then again, it's too early, but still.

My guess is owners and GMs like to have guys with experience playing the game within the game (managing front office personalities, deference to personnel decisions, willingness to take the fall, etc.)

This jaded Washington fan simply wants Griffin to have another shot, they've failed him as much as he's failed them. I think Gruden knows that he's on the clock and that's the reason the front office kept Griffin as an insurance policy.

A great offensive line can make decent quarterbacks look great, and a bad one can make great QBs look ordinary. Fact is, he's carried the team deep into January in his 1st 3 seasons, without much defensive help and without a consistent running game. But he does look bad.

Hell, there've only been at most 10 *white* QBs like Tom Brady. Brady had the stars align for him and he took FULL advantage.

Xs and Os without Billys and Joes can work in college but is a formula for disaster in the Not For Long. Kelly shed key linemen and playmakers over the last couple of years. At least in the short term, he's paying the price.

Maybe it is my imagination, but players seems 2 playing with a bit more reckless abandon this season. I'm really worried about seeing some maddening injuries this year.

Maybe he is; he leads the NFL in turnovers since 2014. And that has just as much to do with
him as it does with a shoddy o-line and aging skilled players. Besides, you can't credit Luck

Colts o-line is overmatched against top defenses, and that falls on the front office. How do you not make protecting the face of your franchise a top priority??? Give Luck the Dallas o-line and see what happens.

Colts will win their weak division, but won't go far in the playoffs. It'll be another blowout loss to the Pats, which will probably cost Pagano his job.

I don't think Luck's overrated either but he sure as hell made some

bad throws last week against the Jets. I think he and the Colts were rated high coming into the season because Denver sleepwalked in the playoff

loss against them last season and Peyton was hurt. It also helped the Colts that DeMarcus Ware pulled his usual disappearing act come playoff time. Yes the Colts GM is inept. Look no further than him getting hosed

by the Cleveland Browns for giving up a number 1 pick for a very overrated Trent Richardson.

He's not Rodgers, Brady or Manning, but he's top five easily.

And trading a number one pick for a bum like Trent Richardson is downright stupid. That pick could have been a foundation left tackle or a center. To repeat, look at how Jerry Jones rebuilt the Cowboys o-line. That's what the Colts need to do.

I predict that by the end of next week, the 49er will have been outscored 133 to 35, by opposing teams.
