Ready for KING KONG vs GODZILLA? The Stage Is Set for a King Kong vs. Godzilla Movie MatchupIn a movie move that portends a clash of giant monsters, Legendary Pictures’ Thomas Tull is moving his untitled Skull Island King Kong film to Warner Bros. This is being done to unite the property with Legendary’s other giant franchise, Godzilla. In what would be a pretty epic pairing, the Godzilla sequel that is in the works will be followed by a movie that pits the giant ape versus the giant fire breathing reptile. I’m told this is happening very quickly with moves going all the way to Japan, where Godzilla rights holder Toho is based. By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!

How can Kong compete with Fire? FOOLS multiply when WISE Men & Women are silent.

Hmmm. That's like a small monkey fighting a blue whale with legs if you look at the scale of the monsters from both recent films. My art book: http://www.lulu.com/spotl...ecomicskid

Radioactive fire, and the fact that Godzilla is 300 feet tall.
As for the Godzilla sequel, I heard Mothra, Rodan and King Ghidorah will be in it.

That's 1974's Godzilla vs Mecha-Godzilla. I have no idea why Kong's name is on the poster.

Sounds great but I hope both get a good amount of screen time.I think that Godzilla only got 10 minutes on screen in the last movie There's Joy in repetition

Seriously, in the last Godzilla movie he was over 300 feet tall. In the last King Kong movie he was something like 25-30 feet tall.

I have no idea why but it was marketed as "King Kong vs. Godzilla" over here. That other King Kong vs. Godzilla movie that PurpleJedi posted a picture of was also marketed as "King Kong vs. Godzilla " over here. Confusion! He didn't get much screen time in the 1954 original, either. But bothare great films. I thought the battle scenes in G-2014 were terrific.

Are you kidding?????????? That was Godzilla IN NAME ONLY. No true G-fan enjoyed that POS Fakezilla from Tri-Star. Dean Devlin and Roland Emmerich totally ruined the character, similar to what Joel Schumacher did to Batman.
Godzilla doesn't run from military fire, lay eggs, or make goo-goo eyes at Matthew Broderick. And NO radioactive fire??? I'll never understand why Toho approved that hot mess.

...and there were never two separate endings. That was an urban legend. Kong wins in the Japanese version. Only difference is you hear Godzilla's roar after Kong's at the end.

I know Godzilla 2014 was a hit but the only time I liked the flick is during the final battle scene...Even critics complained that the Director focused on the humans while the Monsters hung-around like backdrops...So I hope a different director is attached...Godzilla's Fire is not even a discussion-piece becuz he fought many Monsters that had to figure out how to avoid The Heat...We all know King Kong is much faster than the Lizard...Godzilla's weight and that tail slows him down a bit....No matter how you spin it @ the end of the day Godzilla is STILL King of the Monsters...

A different director might not show the same respect for the character. I'm pretty sure G will get more screen time in the sequel, especiallyif those other three kaiju are in it.
