You're welcome.
I'm the opposite. I'm not a Jakes fan, but i'm digging the talk show. I hope he gets picked up. It is a really good show. He is not preaching or anything. He just councels guests. Check out the YT channel. I think most of the episodes are there. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

I didn't know T.D. Jakes had a talk show. I had a chance to watch this over the weekend and it was exactly as I suspected. Diamond is a spoiled brat who is used to having her way and doesn't want to have the responsibilities of a grown woman with children. Angie owes her ZERO! If she is adult enough to bring children into the world, she is adult enough to live in her own house and not have her mother coddle and take care of her. "It's not nice to fuck with K.B.! I agree. I think it's more about how Diamond and Angie need to learn to accept each other as adults and learn how to get along. They are too much alike. I can relate to that. Me and my father have gone through the same thing.

I don't know. I watched for a few minutes. And yeah, people have these same surface problems, but generally the root of this problem the average person doesn't have. Most people really can't afford to support a grown person and their children, so they are generally fighting about that adult stepping up and contributing to the household, not just simply respecting them. Me, if I had the funds, the "child" would be in her own condo and that would be that. And having private counselling to mend anything else.

I like how he not only counsels, but towards the end of a lots of the shows, he actually provides written steps (usually about 3-5 of them) to help people move towards problem solving and closure if they're facing similar issues in their own life. It looks like the talk show game has come a long way from when you just had people onstage moaning and groaning, being exploited or exploitive themselves towards others, and then the host would just wrap it all up at the end of the hour with "Well, we hope you'll be able to work this mess out and thanks for coming today. See you all tomorrow when we feature Sandra from Fuego del Rio as she shares how she blnded her husband with a bowl of hot sauced egg whites to the face. was she justified? Bye Everbody "
Life is messy enough as it is, it's kinda nice to see a show that's solution-oriented and helps folks stregnthen their backbone a little.

I will say that I had a chance to see Diamond appear on her mom's former show "R&B Divas Atlanta", and while her mom appeared to be invested and comitted to seriously grooming her daughter for a career (by way of introductions, business contacts, and yes, performance critiques because you gotta know how to take the salty with the sweet) - that little heffa came off as spoiled, entitled, wanting everything to go her way yesterday without having paid any dues, and basically just an all around pain in the hoo-hah.

Please. As as said couple of months ago....when Ms. Stone knocked her daugher's teeth out.
Ms. Stone has been an enabler. No grown adult should be living with a parent or parents, sink or swim. Children should won't for things... most things, you don't indulge children. There's nothing worse than a spoiled little boy or girl who's chronological age makes them an adult. Counseling my ass...welcome to the generation of cluess parents.
