"Sooo many times..." , "Pro football is like nuclear warfare. There are no winners, only survivors. "Frank Gifford isms.
Godspeed and RIP Mr. Gifford.
As Chancellor said, Mr. Gifford lived a long time and it appears he had a good life. What more can you ask for...?
When you think of Monday Night Football you'll have to remeber the men who started the journey and Mr. Gifford was apart of that progams before Howard Cosell. As a player, Gifford took a lot of hits but the man bounced righ back up with what appears lilttle health issues later on in life
On another note....
Frank Gifford was very easy on the eye when he was younger. In his playing days the man was down right fine... to the dismay of some of NFL players and his Giants' teammates.

He said his Fellow Players did not like him but I wonder what role he played...When several of your co-workers can't stand you then "you" might have some issues...Maybe it was Ego or something else but I don't believe Franky was Mr. Innocent...

I always got the impression the dislike of Mr. Gifford was a case of the green eyed monster.
