Make your accusation... you will find that you are foolish for doing so, as you will find that I did not do it.

Dude that's not how it works.

First we need to gather evidence.

Then we need to interrogate the witnesses.

Then we can begin with the proceedings! biggrin

P.S. Thanks for provoking me into a flame war/jacking this thread about the Book Club.

Nobody provoked you into anything... but I would suggest that you gather as much evidence as possible, interrogate as many witnesses as possible and begin proceedings... only to find that you have been terribly wrong, at which point you should really apologize.

Yeah, nevermind that now.

Are you gonna join the bookclub?

It might be out of your league since people are actually expected to contribute and not just post up quotations from Bertrand Russell without thinking for themselves. smile

Well, if you are going to try to think for yourselves, I suggest that you steer clear of the "Archie" comics... they might be a bit deep for you.

I received my copy, finally, last friday. I haven't started
reading it yet since I've had 3 other books lying around I
had to finish since otherwise everything's going to blur and
end up a mess.

I'll start and finish Coetzee this friday [praise the lord
for the phantom job].

Wow, that's exactly the phrase I read as I opened up the
book for the first time to have a quick browse through it.

I loved it! My aunt and uncle (both Oregon natives) like Powells too but are a bit sad because it's beginning to take over the rest of the small, independent bookstores in Portland ever since it opened up its website.
