We never had the opportunity to meet in person but I always kept her on my short list of Orgers I really wanted to meet. I already missed her when her posts became less frequent and her sudden illness certainly took me by surprise. Her death has affected me far more than I ever expected and I'm really saddened by her passing.

She was a good person, very real, sometimes troubled, but hey, who isn't.

Rest in Peace Tammy, you'll always be MyFavorite...

I wish there were a way to compile old posts into a sort of "Best of..." archive. I'd love to read some of MyFavorite's more memorable contributions.

The services will be held at

Cavazos Funeral Home
2000 Cypress Landing Dr.
Houston, Texas 77090.

Viewing will begin at 11 am and end at 12 with the service following immediately after that. A lot of people having been asking what they can do, we are asking that you guys send flowers. My mom loved flowers.

My friend Taylor Morton has a florist shop and they would be more than happy to help.

I would too. Some of the things that MyFavorite would say were funny, some of them made me say, "What is she talking about?"

I want to thank all of you for stepping up and making the flower display for Tammy happen. I know we rip on the Org all.the.time. but we all share an incredible bond through that funky place. It means so much to me that you guys all pitched in to make these flowers happen. You guys rule!

Someone mentioned getting together some of her more classic posts. I was just thinking Ren, that I once did a book for a friend of mine in which I gathered together some of his more classic comments, added pictures that I could of him and/or his family, and put it together into a book and presented a copy to him and one to his mother. It was a little over a $100 per book through Staples (but that was printing on high grade paper (front and back) and binding it together). We have some talented people on the org, perhaps they could print them up and would only have to pay Staples (or someplace similar) to bind it together into a book. And Ren, maybe you could present it to her family as a keep sake.
