I think I was 15. Over Christmas break at a friend's sister's house. It was just innocent french kissing and was good. (not with my friend or her sister, we had a couple guys over)

August 28th, 1997: I was 15, it was with my best friend Michael. We were at our Homeroom teacher's house for a summer bbq and sleepover... it was like, 2 or 3 in the morning. We were up talking and it was PITCH black- we were up in the coastal mountains near the ocean and there isn't any light outside when it's dark. We couldn't even see each other. We were lying there, and all of a sudden I started getting these amorous feelings and we kept getting closer. I could feel his slow breath and we got closer, and closer... and we kissed!

In the months afterward, it really fucked up our friendship and we were all weird towards each other. We didn't talk for a year.

I recall it as an awful experience. She was perhaps the most popular girl in her school, and I had been made aware weeks prior that all the girls there would be waiting to check me out -- and all the guys there would be waiting to ambush me.

I had the balls to show my face and actually stick around for the duration of the play. But just before the end of the last song, I got my ass up and out of there under the cover of a dark auditorium! By the time the posse of football players arrived outside looking for me (and I was later informed they did, indeed, come looking), I was long gone.
