I don't care what you think How many of us has insecurities, can a person ever be fully confident within there own selves without seeming to arrogant or coincided? When a person says I don't care what other people think, do they really mean it, or is just a excuse to hide the true feel

I definitely have insecurities but it's more about body image. It doesn't matter what a person says about how I look, I definitely an issue with how I view my body.

so believe most people have some insecurities about something. Exactly! I dont care what anybody else thinks however, I care what I think! My issues are mine because of me not because I care what people think. Conceited? Yes, people can come across as confident without coming across that way. When a person says I don't care what other people think, do they really mean it, or is just a excuse to hide the true feel
Everybody cares what somebody else thinks. But everybody doesn't care what everybody else thinks. . . [This message was edited Mon Mar 24 11:40:49 PST 2003 by Supernova] This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes.

Sometimes you say you don't care and mean it. Other times, it is a way of protecting your feelings. It depends on the situation.

I think it's just only natural that people have some kind of insecurity on some level. The hardest part of it for me is to be totally honest with myself and admitting to myself what insecurities are within me. Knowing what those are I can begin to confront them. But it is a struggle because acknowledging to myself that there is a weakness in my character is scary. But I also believe that if you're aware of your strengths as well as your weaknesses, you are much better off and more equipped to handle life. So it is said that if you know others and know yourself, you will not be imperiled in a hundred battles; if you do not know others but know yourself, you win one and lose one; if you do not know others and do not know yourself, you will be imperiled in every single battle.
