Do the words 'Zetland' and 'Huddersfield' mean anything to anyone here? I'm not one for nostalgia, I'm just trying to touch base with anyone who shares similar fond memories of a unique moment in public house history. Hey JD! It was really sunny & gorgeous here today! Did you ever hit the Zetland? Back in the early nineties, it was Bass Taverns highest grossing pub in the North. Think the Dove & Rainbow with twice as many customers all squeezed into a tiny basement! It got turned into an O'Neills as an experiment when they first launched those stupid theme pubs. [disclaimer] I don't belive in living in the past, I'm just seeing if anyone here shares the same background "You know, you're the classic example of the inverse ratio between the size of the mouth and the size of the brain" | |
