Think of it as just your job - not something that defines you, because you will need to think positively when serving children who are picky, their parents' best friends, complainers, ungrateful, don't listen, and are somewhat messy slobs. The plus would be the fact that you will get to leave school before the children do, will have summers, school breaks, and weekends off, will not be held accountable for test scores, should not have to deal with parents, and - if full time - will get public service bennies like health insurance, vacation time, and retirement. You can be the nice "cool guy" at the cafeteria, or can be the mean "guy who hates his job at school" in the cafeteria. Your choice.
