No, this is my place.

My neighbour's entrance on the side of our condo building:

This is today after a bit of a melt from the spring sun.

Try over 6 feet. Also we have had the city come and actually remove the snow on the sides of our roads several times.

Believe me, this year has been really tough and we are fed up. My son has missed 13 days of school since Jan 5!

Erin, do you remember when the City of Toronto called in the Canadian Armed Forces to help remove snow? lol I wasn't around yet for that, but I see what it's like where you live, and I can understand why Toronto continues to be a laughing stock over that episode.

And to add insult to injury, once the trauma of all that snow has subsided, you no doubt must prepare for the inevitable flooding threats. disbelief

Yes, I remember that.

I won't have to worry about flooding because I'm on the ocean. Storm surges are more of a worry as my place is actually almost surrounded by ocean. My parents live by a river though, that's a real concern. They already had flood issues in the fall.

I wonder if the spring will be horribly wet and miserable. sad

Wow. That is insane. On the news down here you only hear about Boston's winter. They got like 100 inches. But is it true up near you , like in St. John there was 185 inches or 470cm?? I like snow but that is just unreal.

Glad I live in snowless Auckland NewZealand, where we have had no snow ever in recorded history and the coldest temperature all last year was 3c (37f) and the coldest high was 53f.

Got some kind of love for you, and I don't even know your name

I was curious where all that goes when it melts, would really suck being a land locked lowland. Soggy.

Your high has been our low this year. I'm actually feeling a little nervous about spring/summer, drought, drought and more drought.

I read that the reason California is gonna have a drought is because the mountains didn't get any snow.

The current of precipitation was sent to eastern Canada! Tada! smile
