I agree, people who assume anyone who is Latino looking and who speaks Spanish must be Mexican, I mean there are many other countries in Latin America and then of course, what if they could also be Spanish, Filipino or Equatorial Guinean as well.

I remember a part from some Jennifer Lopez Movie where she says to some silly gringo "My father is Puerto Rico, and my Mum is from El Salvador, so there is no fucken part that is related to MEXICO!"

Even worse was avideo on Yoitube about bus trips into Tijuana and Ensenada and the guide pleading with the gringos to not say, that the people speak Mexican, they are speaking Spanish. I mean how can anyone be that ignorant.

It's like here, where anyone from China, Japan, India, Pakistan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, Taiwan, Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan. Sri Lanka, Nepal etc is instantly labelled as Asian, if that is not lazy race describing what is, they all have diverse and interesting individual cultures you know.

And then there is a good video, destroying the stereotypes all Hsiapnic people are only Mestizos and no other race, this video had for groups of Hispanic people Whites, Blacks, Mestizo, Indigenous, Indigenous - Black, Indigenous - Asian, Asian, Middle Eastern, Zambo (Black, Asian and Indigenous), Mulatto (Black White), Eurasian (White Asian) and many other mixes, yet ignorant people think they are all darker skinned Meztizos. The only thing all these groups had in common besides being Latino, was that they all spoke Spanish as their first language.
