how do I transfer video to my hard drive ?

Can anyone recommend to me which TV capture card to buy for my pc, I wish 2 transfer my prince vid collection onto DVD and I do not know where to start, also which is a good DVD recorder to get ?? hope someone can help, thanx in advance.

I won't be able to help you with your search for a good capture card...
But I have a Sony DVD recorder and I love it. Lots of great software comes with it too.

Sometimes it helps to check online hardware review places like Tom's Hardware
