Boston Dynamic's Robot Dog This company is doing some amzing work with walking and self balancing robots. The older version of this robot was loud and clumsy. Now its quite and smooth in its movement.

I saw a clip early today, about something similar and it was funny & cute because people were a tiny bit concerned that he "kicked the dog".
