Why its just easier to avoid the politics and religion forum...

1) there are lots of arguments
2) in the majority of case once you've read one of their threads you've read em all
3) I dont understand most of it and i'm jealous of those that do

sad

this is just a statement... not a forum as such... moderators on standby to delete...

JaneyPoos used to be it... then they changed what it was. Now what I am isn't it and what is it is strange and frightening to me...

It is easy to avoid it isn't it? There's not much internalising on GD really, it is humorous... the balance is great. This is how I experience it, anyway... biggrin

I would say it's easy for you to avoid because you have no real opinions of your own, and care not to be informed about what anyone else thinks.

I, of course, don't go there either... Not much. biggrin

There is a very compelling reason to avoid the forum... I must not say any more.

There is no reason not to read it JaneyPoos. And there is nothing wrong if you don't have any "real opinions" about these very important events yourself. Some of the "real opinions" I see expressed here and there aren't worth the cyberspace they take up.

I've seen you express an interest in what goes on there a number of times, Janey, and I think that's great.

I suggested soulpower as a reason to read P&R not because I always agree with what he says, but because he ALWAYS responds to people and their questions/comments. He doesn't always resort to sarcasm or cliches and his "flames" (which are not really flames) are a sign of a real interest in what he is saying and not just some knee jerk reaction to these important events.

He takes this stuff seriously and so should you.

I'm enjoying the Politics and Religion forum these days. There is ALOT of great discussion and debate going on there.SoulPower is one of the main reasons why I visit that forum. He knows exactly what he's talking about, and it's fun watching him piss off certain Orgers who are bold enough to debate with him...lol...

But seriously, that forum is GREAT! You can get a whole history lesson from visiting that forum...lol...
