remember when you had quiz shows on tv and you had ordinary members of the public trying to win

some cash or prizes,all you seem to get these days are so-called celbrities playing these quiz games

for their chosen charities,its the same old faces all the time,why dont they just give some of their own

money to charity and get off my tv.

Totally agree! The worst ones these days are "Hollywood Game Night" and "Celebrity Name Game." Please make these shows go away! I will admit, if there ever was a celebrity version of "Survivor," "Big Brother," or "Amazing Race" in the U.S. I would be all over it. But these game shows with celebs are just plain stupid. And don't even get me started on Dancing With the "Stars"....

It's been a pattern where quiz/game shows switch to celebrities after ratings inevitably dip with regular people as contestants. People just lose interest in the games themselves, as most people find it more interesting to see celebs competing.

There are some game shows such as Celebrity Name Game which are a bit of a compromise with both celebrities and regular folk participating together.
