Favourite Serial Killer I saw Summer of Sam on video the other day and enjoyed the fact that David Berkowitz said that his next door neighbours dog told him to do it.!
Anyone else got a favourite serial killer or movie about a serial killer. [This message was edited Thu Mar 20 6:28:18 PST 2003 by ConsciousContact]

john wanye gacy...for the duality of his public (upstanding married man, member of the jaycees, entertains as a clown at children's parties) and private (unable to accept his own sexuality, serial murderer of young boys) personas...interesting psychologically.

I have many favorites, but I will say The Zodiac Killer today, simply for his personality.
Side note... if you are talking about Bones, was that based on a serial killer?

Here are some good examples of serial killers:
Pedro Alonzo Lopez Andrei Chikatillo Edmund Kemper Albert Fish Ed Gein H.H. Holmes Ted Bundy John Wayne Gacy Jeffery Dahmer Richard Ramirez I could go on for days about serial killers, but I won't. I am, however, producing a line of serial killer merchandise and t-shirts that will be sold on my website when I finish the designs. SUPERJOINT RITUAL - http://www.superjointritual.com

they never caught the zodiac killer (west coast) and he produced many copycats especially on the east coast...
i would have to say there is no love for the average serial killer if i had to choose a killer it would be Roy DeMeo - Richard Kuklinski, Fred West was rather interesting. but the best of them all was Jack the Ripper... But not the others. Ice could you give me a quick run down of what they did. Lopez - "The Monster of the Andes" - killed over 300 people. Chikatilo - "The Rostov Ripper" - killed over 50 in Russia. Cannibal. Kemper - "The Co-Ed Killer" - Killed about 10 people. Necrophiliac. Killed his grandparents at 14... released... killed more. Fish - "The Grey Man" - killed and ate Grace Budd. Cannibal and extreme sadomasochist. Gein - The inspiration for the movies "Psycho" and "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre," among others. Cannibal. Holmes - killed hundreds of people in his "torture castle." Bundy - killed over twenty, possibly far more. Cannibal. Gacy - killed over thirty. Dressed as "Pogo the Clown." Sadomasochist. Dahmer - killed 17 men and ate them. Tried to create sex zombies. Cannibal. Ramirez - "The Night Stalker" - killed at least 16 people. SUPERJOINT RITUAL - http://www.superjointritual.com

I wouldn't say I have a "favorite" serial killer, I've read a lot of books about the Zodiac killer and about Richard Ramirez.
I just got a new paperback about the Zodiac but haven't started it yet.

You MUST have the DVD of the first two "Iceman" specials, right? SUPERJOINT RITUAL - http://www.superjointritual.com

My favorites are:
Jeffrey Dahmer (classic, shocking, horror story) Ed Gein (ghoulish and disturbed-you know the lampshade story) Edmund Kemper (necrophiliac, decapitator, and dismemberer) Andrei Chikatillo (as Ice said, cannibal) Jack the Ripper (complete psychopath and progressive killer. He got more and more bold and disgusting, with each kill) Fritz Haarmann (German serial killer. Like Dahmer, preyed on young men, but also sold their meat in the black market meat trade in the 1920s) Nikolai Dzhumagaliev (another Russian cannibal, also known as "Metal Fang" because he had metal teeth that he used to rip apart his victims) Albert Fish (another cannibal) And of course, Gacy. Favorite Serial Killer? Umm, any of them that are dead? Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. (Ecclesiastes 7:9)

He only got involved when he realized that his minions went to far to turn back, and he got all the credit because he acts like a nut. Oh I get it. I just saw some show about Wayne Williams and how a lot of people think he's the wrong guy. I don't remember why, or what evidence there is to support that though. "I saw a woman with major Hammer pants on the subway a few weeks ago and totally thought of you." - sextonseven
