Bill Cosby may be a sex deviant.

I'm certainly not happy about this, it just makes me sad and depressed. We cannot trust anybody these days:

Scottsdale woman accuses Bill Cosby of sexual assault

Bill Cosby's years-old sexual misconduct allegations were put in focus again after users subverted his attempts to engage with fans on social media. Newsy

A Scottsdale artist says comedian Bill Cosbydrugged and raped her more than three decades ago. Barbara Bowman made the claim in aWashington Post opinion piece published Thursday.

Bowman said she has repeatedly spoken out about her involvement with Cosby, but it wasn't until a viral video of comedian Hannibal Buress surfaced last month that she said the public began to notice.

In the video, which has nearly 300,000 page views, Buress imitates Cosby, then derides him over allegations of sexual assault.

"'Pull your pants up Black people," Buress says, imitating Cosby. "I can talk down to you because I was on TV in the '80s. I can talk down to you because I had a successful sitcom."

Then Buress breaks from character and says, "Yeah, but you rape women, Bill Cosby, so that kind of brings you down a couple notches."

The allegations against the 77-year-old actor exploded exponentially Monday when Cosby's website released a meme generator that resulted in a flood of memes featuring backgrounds of Cosby with such captions as "It's not rape if you're famous" and "Rape accusers say the darnedest things." The generator has since been taken down, but the memes linger, according to the Root, a news website catering to African-Americans.

Bowman said she met Cosby as a 17-year-old actress trying to gain traction in the industry. Cosby took her under his wing and giving her acting lessons and industry advice.

In one instance, Bowman described in a Daily Mail article, Cosby directed the young actress to act drunk while he stood behind her and caressed her neck and back.

As their relationship evolved, Cosby told Bowman to think of him as a "father figure," Bowman said.

In time, Cosby befriended Bowman's mother and asked them to accompany him on trips across the country, Bowman said.

On another occasion, Bowman said she went to dinner with Cosby, blacked out and woke up wearing only her underwear and a man's T-shirt.

"I'm certain that he drugged and raped me," she wrote in the Post.

According to the Root, at least four women, including Bowman, have alleged that Cosby sexually assaulted them.

In 2004, Andrea Constand filed a sexual assault lawsuit against Cosby. The case was settled out of court for an undisclosed amount, Bowman said.

Cosby did not return calls from the Washington Post, but has previously denied allegations of sexual molestation as far back as 2005.

Bowman has been a painter and muralist working in abstract expressionism and realism while living in Scottsdale.

Last week, she became a volunteer for PAVE (Promoting Awareness, Victim Empowerment), a national advocacy group speaking out against sexual assault. Her duties include traveling around the country meeting students and media to communicate the importance of speaking out against sexual violence.

Bowman was not available for comment at the time of publishing.

Mr. Cosby made an out of court settlement (2006) to a woman who had been or was affiliated with Temple University. This woman said, she had been invited to his home in Philly for a meeting about something to do with a project concerning Temple University. She said, she was offered a glass of wine and later awoke with her blouse undone and her bra off.

When numerous people - in this case women- reveal a pattern of maleficence, there's usually truth to what's being alleged. These allegations -Cosby being accused of rape- have been mentioned in the press before and have been known about for decades .

Yep... it looks like it.

Its funny how life works sometimes. Just when you thought someone has gotten away with some shit; a consequential act, coupled with an unbeknownst newspaper Op-Ed piece, leads to some evil truths being exposed. Mr. Cosby's silence yesterday during a NPR interview about these allegations of rape, were eerie, I think the jig is up.

Even if the rape allegations are not true, he has admitted to having more than one affair on his wife. So at the very least, he needs to step down off his moral high horse.

And I also dare to say that THE real reason why I believe Bill Cosby used to give Lisa Bonet such a hard time during The Cosby Show's later years is because he was so pissed that Lenny Kravitz had sex with her and Bill NEVER gotten the chance to do it himself!

My opinion of course.

Its not uncommon to have men or women to "dip their spoon in another bowl of sugar"... being rich and/or famous is inconsequential.

It's the rich and famous that are usually put on a pedestal especially in Bill's case.

I heard that Bill was royally pissed when Lenny got in his way. I also heard that he did tap Sabrina LeBeuf, (the one who played Saundra).

I always thought it was just gossip but who knows? eek

Maybe now some rapper will make a song telling him to pull his own pants up.

Interesting. hmmm I didn't know about that rumor. But I do know that Sabrina is still the only former Cosby that stay retired from the entertainment industry.
