Tom Magliozzi Host of NPR's Car Talk DEAD http://www.npr.org/2014/1...dies-at-77
Tom Magliozzi, one of public radio's most popular personalities, died on Monday of complications from Alzheimer's disease. He was 77 years old. Tom and his brother, Ray, became famous as "Click and Clack the Tappet Brothers" on the weekly NPR show Car Talk. They bantered, told jokes, laughed and sometimes even gave pretty good advice to listeners who called in with their car troubles. If there was one thing that defined Tom Magliozzi, it was his laugh. It was loud, it was constant, it was infectious. [Edited 11/3/14 11:51am] The Most Important Thing In Life Is Sincerity....Once You Can Fake That, You Can Fake Anything. | |

Ex-Moderator | Oh no! That's really too bad. What a great guy. I didn't listen to every show, but enjoyed it when I happened upon it on a long weekend drive. |

Major dark cloud on Harvard Square. These guys were constant companions of mine during road trips and long Saturday joyrides. May Tom R.I.P. [Edited 11/4/14 18:04pm] Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου
