She doesn't even look like the same person and looks years older. What a shame--she was cute like a pixie with those chubby cheeks.

That said, whatever she has changed is simultaneously drastic and very, very subtle. I can't quite put a finger on what she did. Amazing how the smallest change can completely tweak the signature of one's face.

I'm pretty sure it's just Botox causing her hooded eye to be lifted (and/or maybe eyelid surgery) and weight loss. Below the eyes she looks the same, just more natural makeup.

It's weird that one small change on the face can make one look totally different, unrecognizable. Like Jennifer Grey.

Looks like a bit of filler an botox, but I wouln't say extreme.
The biggest difference is lighting and makeup to me. Anyone would

look different with a tan and 15 years added to them.

The change is totally in her eyes. She's definitely altered her lid - which makes sense because as we age our lids fall and sag and people with hooded eyes have lids that make your eyes look even squintier with age. You can now see her lid, which was not visible before.

I think she looks good and it's a subtle alteration that has a big impact. It's good work, very natural.

She doesn't look awful but she definitely looks older.

It's funny cuz I NEVER said that she looks bad or awful/ugly, the pics I posted where 2 OF THE FIRST 3 that appeared on Google with "Renee Zellgewer 2014"

but, what's the point of surgery if it C-H-A-N-G-E-S your face to the point of being unrecognizable?

I personally think that losing your face is horrible and insane (unless you're a fugitive, a witness, an international terrorist or something extreme like that which may require, literally, a new face)

This is not the Renée Zellweger I knew, this is not the Renéé Zellweger which I once had a crush on; for me, she's physically GONE

I always thought she looked like she was bulimic with her overly skinny, awkward body and very puffy unhealthy looking face - it causes chipmunk cheeks - which isn't normal or healthy. I think people were just used to seeing her when she was sick, which is pretty sad.

Erin is right about her only having a lid lift. Whenever someone did a Renee Zellweger impression, they always squinted.

Um no. I never said anything about trying to hide an illness now. What I said was, I believe she altered her eyelids...maybe she hated that she had squinty eyes, maybe the way she aged there caused her to want a change...I dunno, doesn't matter even. Her eyes are what's changed and there is nothing wrong with that. I hated my crooked teeth so I got braces...it dramatically altered my face just having my palate broken and expanded and teeth realigned.

What I also said is she herself has stated that now she is healthy. She no longer appears to have that puffy, chipmunk face that people claim was so endearing and now miss.

I'm saying that I do not believe that the puffy face was natural or healthy as people with bulimia get that look, especially when it's paired up with a body type that looks weird and unnatural in a skinny state. I just coupled that up with her comment about being "healthy" now. It's just a guess, of course...but she really used to look like the classic bulimic woman.
