Arguably the most anticipated movie of the year. Directed by Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight trilogy, Inception, Memento...). Based on Kip Thorne's worm holes theories, the film is about a space trip that evokes the possibility of time traveling...



As a fan of both Nolan and Stanley Kubrick, I find the predictions made by Nolan's die hard fans utterly stupid and unconvient, calling Interstellar the next "2001 A Space Oydssey" and whatnot.

Still, even if the film looks mainstream and all, I find the concept and the idea very intresting, one thing Nolan shares with Kubrick concerning this, is that Carl Segan was Kubrick's science consultant while working on Odyssey, same goes for Kip Thorne who assissted Nolan throughout the whole filming sequences. I think it's brilliant to merge actual and accurate science theories with film and imagery.

Anyone looking forward to see this? It's opening November 7 in the US. Mostly everyone who saw the initial screening recommends to see it in IMAX.

Looking forward to an Epic Sci-fi movie. Was let down by Prometheus.
