Girls n Boys

You have the girls, coming out of one of their growth spurts, in one of their 'boys are so immature' stages (because hey, girls ARE physically more mature then boys at many stages of school years), being matched in with the stage of life where boys are starting to get over their fear of Girl Germs. They have spent great parts of their social life basically play fighting with each other and have established that pushing each other over on the playground is how boys make friends with each other. Girls are 'different' and at that stage of a boys development, not remotely interesting. So then they suddenly realise they actually LIKE girls. What do they do?? Their friends are no help as, hello, Girl Germs, and none of them have ever talked to a girl either. Girls at this stage are herd animals, so it is not as if a boy can get one alone and offer to show her his card collection. They are always surrounded by their friends, none of which show any sign of liking this boy either. ASo what can a boy do? He has no opening for a one on one chat. His friends will tease him if they find out. So.... I know! Pull her hair!!! That way she notices me AND my friends wont laugh! WIN WIN! I was never that boy and I got my ass kicked daily. I fondly remember this one girl that had turbulence at home. Shoved from mom to dads. She ran away once. She had the cutest Madonna 1984 poodle style haircut and was great at listening and drawing.
What are you outraged about today? CNN has not told you yet?

It depends on the kid. For every well behaved boy there is an extremely selfish and petty girl. And for every really nice girl there is my absolute worst nightmare of a boy child that still gives me PTSD in my early thirties.
