Poisoning is easier to get away with than any other method of murder though, as poisoning can often times look like death by natural causes and most autopsies performed do not search for poisons unless foul play is suspected, thus many poisoners get off. As for the mothers who kill their children, they often times smother them to death... but that leaves petechia and other tell-tale signs of asphyxiation. There is no perfect crime, as evidenced by John George Haigh's capture and conviction without the presence of a corpse... he was called "The Acid Bath Murderer" because he disposed of bodies in vats of acid... a piece of dental work did him in. The dental work does do most people in. 
I do remember the Acid Bath Murderer case. About the mothers who kill their children, I was thinking mostly about a long time ago. I had heard of many cases where they used poison, and no one really looked into those things back then, so it was much easier. Roy DeMeo is actually one of the first "hit men" for the mob, he was involved with the Hoffa effort and he killed well over 200 people for the mob, he created the Meat Factory @ the Gemini Club in New York - he trained Kuklinski, in his own methods... these were men of profit therefore i respect them more than people such as the Green River killers, Bundy, Dahmer... they were just ill - killing people who did not anything other than life. no killing is NOT right...so no flames... oh and Lopez i thought he only killed 140 girls... ~Live Free ...
