Well, actually it ended Sunday at 1:15, when we received notification from our daughter that she'd received a bid from a sorority. Thank God it was the one she liked best!

Have you ever been through sorority rush? Holy moley, what a stressful time! I know it almost always ends up OK. And even if girls don't get a bid, there are snap bids available from sororities that didn't fill their quota. But dang!

We started drinking at 2:30 Sunday and pretty much haven't stopped, except for work.

A different process for African-Americans. I'm glad to hear they have a snap bid going on now. Back-in-the-day fraternities and sororities, use to do the "blackball" or marble. A young woman on my dorm floor, was "blackballed". That girl cried for a week plus...
