I swear by it...I bought 3 jars on my travels..it cures muscular aches and pains (better than Deep Heat), insect bites (better than Jungle Formula), itching, and headaches (better than asprin)...what is it with Chinese medicine? It is fuckin ace... woot!

My sister who played rugby had a leg injury and after much persuading she tried it and now uses it for everything... nod

Do you use alternative/natural/herbal remedies and which do you use for what?

I use Tiger Balm (red) every day and I'm always walking around smelling like it.

I usually use it for a chronic injury in my achilles tendon that I've had for years from dancing. I always put it on halfway through ballet class, and then it stinks up the whole room. But a lot of dancers use stuff like that, so it's nothing unusual to smell Ben-Gay and Tiger Balm in the studio.

Tiger balm is a old standby in my medicine cabinet. My mother used to use it on me as a child. i swear by it too.
i use it for headaches..and various muscle aches. there are now several kinds to choose from to fit whatever your need is...but i really like that traditional strength one smile
i actually try to use herbs for as many things as i can. i truly believe in treating the body good always..rather than just fixing it when it goes bad because you were taking care of it all along. thats eastern medicine vs. western medicine..hug

When I use to take Tae Kwon Do, we would use White Flower which is a lot like Tiger Balm. It's really smelly but really helps to loosen up tight muscles. Never tried it on the nipples though.

Definitely, though I never know exactly what it is I'm taking. My wife's mum always buys this stuff for me for my asthma, and I have to say it works very well.

For me to buy a ventolin or becotide inhaler costs about £6 each, so this is much better value for money because u get a bag of this powdery stuff and it lasts for ages.

Chinese medicine is alright by me. nod

I just used my Tiger Balm again today, and I almost made the ballet teacher pass out! I feel bad now. I put it on, and I don't even really smell it anymore. But it was crowded in class, so therefore hot, sweaty and clausterphobic, and all of the sudden the teacher starts coughing and sneezing, and her eyes were watering.

I asked other people if it was really that bad, and everyone said they liked the smell (everyone knows it's me too, because I always use it) and it wasn't too strong. I guess she must have been extremely sensitive to Tiger Balm. I have to remember not to do that again tomorrow. boxed
