Trust me you don't. They haven't won a playoff game since Bush Sr. was in the White House. I wouldn't even waste time talking shit to a Bengals fan. Don't laugh at my funk

The Steelers don't operate that way when it comes to coaches....look at all the playoff disappointments Cowher had yet he kept his job.
My Giants got their asses handed to them on BOTH sides of the ball. Now Cruz is done for the year......shit shit shit!

I know how the Steeler way has been but back to back lethargic performances from the offense against the weak Jags and a pedestrian but scrappy Browns team is inexcusable. Both coordinators definitely have to go if the front office keeps Tomlin. The big factor here is whether you will start to see empty seats at Heinz if the team continues to perform poorly. In that case the Rooneys will have no choice. I was sorry to see what happened to Cruz. They had a good crop of receivers with Randle and Beckham too. Advantage Cowboys next week. At least Cowher was taking them to the playoffs, Tomlin (and the rest of the coaching staff) is taking them out of them.

I have 2 have some fun with this. The media and fans want 2 run the guy out of town. I like Cutler, faults and all. FOOLS multiply when WISE Men & Women are silent.

Me and TD3 had this discussion at the beginning of the season. The talent is set up for Cutler to win now. No excuses. I gave up after the Green Bay debacle and losing to Carolina. I guess there is still a good bit of football left but I wouldn't bet the house on Cutler. Yeah I can understand you liking Cutler considering the Bears have struggled with qb's since the days of Jim McMahon. [Edited 10/13/14 19:37pm] Don't laugh at my funk

Honestly after looking at the Steelers remaining schedule, if they play like how they have been playing I think they will finish 3-13. The last victory was against the last place Jaguars and the offense could only score 10 points.

I don't understand how people overlook the weak defense and special teams. Why does Cutler take the haet 4 thier poor performances? FOOLS multiply when WISE Men & Women are silent.

I still say the Steelers' problems have to do with miscues by the front office more than coaching. You can see it on the field...they don't have the talent they used to have, especially on defense.
After the way they were dominated in Philly, I'm nervous as fuck about the Giants heaing into Dallas. Cowboys are legit if that o-line keeps doing their thing.

I expected a little more from Jared Allen up front. Losing Tillman for the season didn't help the defense either. Cutler just seems to always throw that untimely interception. Don't laugh at my funk

It's a combination of both It definitely is. The guy buying the grocery(Colbert)is making terrible personnel decisions.Just point to this past draft when the team badly needed a CB and they decided on taking 5'7" little Dri Archer and his phantom speed in the 3rd round. The 2004 draft class that Ben came from he is the lone remaining survivor. Ricardo Colclough 2nd round bust. Max Starks was the only other contributor from that class. 2008 produced those draft gems Mendenhall and Limas Sweed. Mendy had 2 good seasons but I think he fell victim to fan pressure. Haley needs to be the first to go then Colbert after the season but I doubt if the Rooneys cut Colbert loose. Don't laugh at my funk

Is there such a thing as a timely interception? Cutler makes mistakes but folks always underplay the defense, special teams and bad coaching. He really is in a no win situation. Football at the NFL level is a true team sport. U are only as strong as your weakest link. If your Defense and Special teams is ranked at the bottom of the NFL, it soesn't matter what your QB does. Yes. When you throw one on the other side of the field and your opponent gets it inside there ten. It equates to a punt. Seriously you are right it is a team sport but your field general can't hurt the team with turnovers. His qbr is good this year but when you throw picks into the middle of the defense when your receivers are covered that's when your judgement is questioned. The bottom line is he has only been to the playoffs once in his entire NFL career and he is the most talented qb the Bears have had in years that speaks volumes. It does matter what your qb does because even with a weak defense Chicago has the talent on offense to outscore most opposing teams. They proved it against the 49ers.

Well Cortez Allen is now benched and that's 26 million down the drain
Pittsburgh Steelers bench Cortez Allen; McCain to start83
Cortez Allen is no longer a starter, just a few months removed from a five-year, $26 million contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau confirmed that free-agent pickup Brice McCain will start over Allen this week versus the Houston Texans.
The move is not a shock for anyone that has watched Allen play this year. He's been picked on mercilessly, and gave up a number of big plays last week against Cleveland. Pro Football Focus ranks Allen dead last among all cornerbacks in 2014. "Sometimes, there are ups and downs out there. I have great confidence that heâll fight himself through this and be a very strong player," LeBeau said. Allen was also benched for a stretch of play last season and seems like a player that can struggle with his confidence at times. When things are going well, he can inspire his bosses to pay him long-term money. When things start going poorly, he crumbles. Unfortunately, that's been too typical for a Steelers defense that no longer does anything well, no matter who is to blame.

A steeler buddy of mine told me this earlier tonight. Now if they will just bench Mike Mitchell's overpaid and overrated ass and insert Will Allen/Shamarko Thomas in his spot the Steelers may be taken a step forward in rebuilding a terrible secondary. Will Allen has played well when he got the opportunity to start. Don't laugh at my funk

As a Cowboys fan my whole life, it's hard to imagine that they are having an incredible year. I seriously was looking at them winning 4 games all year. Let the ride continue!!!!!

a Cowboys fan displaced in Detroit....gotta show some love to my second favorite team, The Detroit Lions!!!! They should win the North Division. If Stafford and Megatron get back on track, and the Defense keeps playing like they have been, they could make some noise in the playoffs. The Seahawks and 49ers have shown some weaknesses.
