I agree but I don't know how far with Cutler as the trigger man.
I'm not so sure about that. Granted, my Bears weren't completely crappy, but they made some boneheaded plays at the most inopportune times and gave up too many big plays on defense. Plus a couple of players got hurt. I hope these injuries aren't serious and have grave implications down the line.

I can't believe dem Mullets beat New England... I can't either. I let Knowshown Moreno sit on the bench in my fantasy league. I knew he would ball I just didn't think he would today. Our Sterlers looked like shit in the second half. The defense was piss poor in the second half. Cleveland just blew them off the ball in the second half. I'm happy for the win but you won't beat teams like Baltimore, New England, and Denver like that. The Steelers just gave inconsistent Marcus Gilbert a new 4 year deal a couple of weeks ago. : If he keeps shitting his pants like he did in the second half he will be replaced by Mike Adams. Is it too late to get involved in fantasy football? I probably will make pretty bad pics, with a few exceptions but it's still fun to play anyway. LOL

That one pass Cutler threw trying to imitate John Elway throwing across
his body and getting picked off by a 300 lb Defensive lineman.
Cutler has run out of excuses. He has crazy weapons. If he doesn't get it

54 million dollars to a Jeff George mini-me who thinks his Brett Farr; give me a fucking break. I heard more bull-shit from the coaches and players about the new and improved Cutler. This shit is a rerun of last years team, leaving off where they started. Quarterback throwing across the middle, Bears D unable to stop the run at crucial times and the opposing quarterback jersey was clean as a whistle after the game ended. Move over phunkdaddy, I think I'm going to be watchingPitt games with you. |

For what. Pittsburgh nearly laid a damn egg too. And to who?
That defense is The front office is making bad personnel
decisions especially on the defensive side of the ball. Picking up rejects
from other teams and thinking they can turn these guys into football players. I do like rookies Ryan Shazier and Stephon Tuitt. Shazier is gonna be a football player but he is gonna make rookie mistakes. Steelers just gave T Marcus Gilbert a new 4 year contract and this guy can't block his own shadow. Terrible. The Steelers have good skill position players but are weak on the offensive line and defensive line and cornerback. Ike Taylor is past his prime and stinks. I'm not throwing in the towel yet but with that piss poor defensive effort in the second half they are in danger of an ugly season and could get swept by the Bengals and Ratbirds. I've been following his name and his game when he was at the University of Georgia.
Money can play a big part when the Steelers front office hands out
big contracts to underperforming players i.e Marcus Gilbert, Jason Worlids, Mike Mitchell. The team made a bad decision to keep LB Jason Worlids over Lamarr Woodley. Worlids has only been good for 8 games last year in the 4 years he has been a Steeler. Woodley has been good for most of his tenure in Pittsburgh with the exception of the last 2 seasons when he has been in and out of the lineup with injuries. Don't laugh at my funk

The personnel on defense ain't what it used to be. I can't blame that on the coach. |

Kind of inclined to agree with Uptown. I put more blame on the guy buying the grocery(Kevin Colbert) Some bad drafts. At the same time Dick LeBeau has been coaching for 100 years. He has been running the same defense in Pittsburgh for 50 of them. Tom Brady can hang 55 points on this defense before he ever steps on the field. Just spread them out especially when the CB are playing 8 yards off the receiver. I like LeBeau but all good things must come to an end.
Hasn't the LB coach Keith Butler been waiting forever for LeBeau to retire and take over as DC? Don't laugh at my funk

I could be wrong on this but doesn't seems like over the years when the Steelers scores alot of points in the first half the tend not to score that much points the second half. It's like yeah we got a big lead so let's run out the clock (yeah 2 whole quarters). Let's not play to hard because we don't want anybody getting injured. Dam I hope that's not the case. Steelers have to play ALL four quarters. I know they like to run out the clock but once again PLAY ALL 4 QUARTERS. |

I think the Packers will take the NFC North. So the Bears/49'ers/Cowboys/Giants will have to fight for the last 2 spots
Even though they lost that preseason game against Seattle, the Packers did look pretty good. It crossed my mind that they might get to the Superbowl. It's funny how as soon as a season starts we are relieved that it starts but then immediately start talking about the end of the season (Super Bowl)
That wasn't pre-season game. It kicked off the NFL regular season for the NFL and Seattle. That's why they had Seahawks Stars Largent/Kennedy/Jones back to raise the 12th man flag. Pharrel Williams and Sound Garden also performed. 99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment |
