REDFEATHERS

I am getting sick of people taking me for granted and taking the piss!!!

lol Did you click on this thread thinking I was talking about the Org?

mr.green

Ok..today at work was fine, good start etc, nod I had a meeting this afternoon, only to find that the director of the company has changed my job responsibilities yet again!!! omfg

I work for a good company, and work in a senior/managerial position but my job responsibilities have changed, probably about 8-12 times in the last year... cry

My boss just doesnt know the difference between his mouth and his asshole, and is sooo undecisive, yet at the flick of a finger he can make decisions just like that - no arguing, no say, take it or leave it... sigh

Last year 2002, I worked my ass off reading and did more than was expected, pc but as we are growing so rapidly the demands are put upon us, eek my workload trebled, omg I relocated 18 months ago for the company, I lost my social life, sad worked late nights, some weekends, yes I travel but find that when I am out the country, I work extra long hours and I put in this effort through my holidays also. I dedicated my whole self to my career. This overtime is all unpaid!!!

He wont get extra staff cos he wants bigger profit margins but his demands are damaging my health!!! ill

2 weeks ago I just changed projects and work with a colleague only to find today it has been changed again! shocked The time wasted cos of his madness, costs me and the company and makes me lag behind. zzz

I love my job but he is really taking the piss, the efforts I put in go unnoticed, yet one minor hiccup and he comes down on me like a ton of bricks. brick I want it to work, but when he wont negotiate, I feel I am hitting my head against a brick wall. err If I do decide to look for another job, my work is specialised so I would have to sell my home and relocate again...

I wanna scream! But I will not! innocent

I am just mad, and wanted to get it off my chest...

flipped off to bosses!!!

You're so right!!!

My (immediate) Boss and myself, were getting along well, all of a sudden I'm not doing enough!

Then she says, " Your mistake was when you started you were batting 2000, now only about 500.

She keeps overlooking the fact that The first week I started I was in office totally alone, everyone went to Las Vegas.

Then there was a death in the family (It's a family business), and for a month and a half while they were at the hospital for their Mom, I was "holdin' down the fort" as they call it.

But I ask myself, what could I really have expected, it's a history for me. Everyone forgets the godd you do, they just want to focus on the bad as a means to get more for less.

I'm with you! :FU: to BOSSES ALL OVE THE GLOBE>
Imperially Yours,

Don't forget: You work to live, not the other way around.
Always, consider yourself the most important, and don't make your job thé most important aspect of your life.

It's OK to do your best at work, you should, but don't make it so important that you eventually don't have a life outside work. Know when to stop, because it's not worth it.

Don't wait with doing life's great things, like travelling, 'till after retirement. You never know if you live that long...

They do though, they gotta learn people skills, they just sit back and wait for their big fat pay check...my boss cant even switch on his fuckin pc!!!

He really doesnt know what time and effort I put in cos he never did a hard days work ever! He is 'known' in the company and moved around to different departments, he is an ass licker to those more superior to him, and yeah, maybe he is a good boss to them, in their eyes.

For example, we had a Mangagement "Away Day" about 6 weeks ago, we had issues to discuss, cosy hotel, nice food drink etc, and anything we had to say would be within 'these 4 walls' so I said that the staff morale had gone down and nobody was happy anymore in the office...his eyes nearly popped out of his face, I thought, oh shit, maybe I shouldnt have said that, but he really didnt know that people hated their jobs...4 weeks later, 2 people have resigned...

AND!!! Wait for this, he says well, we have more money in the pot cos they have gone so we will not replace them, we have to pull together and all share their responsibilites too! disbelief

Can you believe it?

Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect, it means you've decided to look beyond the imperfections... unknown
